Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Oh look, just like their previous game they abandon this one not fully finished to do another game. Avoid these devs like the plague, they will only half make a gam then try and get you to buy their next game that they will half finish. There are 6 post on this games news trying to sell the next game while there hasn't been an update in over a year. Edit: Interesting that comments are turned off yet developers can still try and spin their practices by forcing a comment on a review with a lot of views. Not surprised at this at all.
Its fun an I did enjoy the game. The problem is at some point the devs added trawlers to the game, they did not work right in rough seas so they removed rough seas. They said they would fix it latter. That fix never came they are now working a new title. The water does not look much better then games form 20 years ago. What you see in older videos for the game with rougher seas and better water textures are no longer in the game. The game has zero risk there are no storms you maybe see 5 meter swells. other It feels like you are on a lake. Its like if a flight simulator had no landing or taking off all you did was fly.

OK just like the previous title from theses guys, love the games if they work but they do not. They move onto their next game leaving it unplayable or unfinished. Bought the latest dlc from this one and cannot use the new boat because of crane bug and the boat drives terrible once it's 1/4 full, grinded the whole game from scratch to get it and cant finish one run. Afraid Ships At Sea will be the same. a great concept but never completed or fixed. And the tips is still not working as well as the sonar, same issues from years ago.
The developers are Norwegian but I don't think they've ever been in a boat. A real boat does not handle like a delivery van with worn tires on an ice road. This model makes zero sense. Also... Fenders INSIDE. Come on??? Need's it's own button to put them inside. Can't try and climb the ranks as a fisher and drive a boat with the fenders outside. Literally unplayable. One final thing. No time acceleration. Even the newest MSFS has it. Traveling from one place to another is tediously slow. It needs more work and it feels like those early 2000 german sim games. Ground layer is good - there's something to build from, but this isn't it so far.
I unfortunately can't recommend this game with good conscience. While the game can be fun it is riddled with game breaking bugs that, from what I have read, have been in the game for the better part of two years. Certain types of fishing, especially deepline fishing, can be broken beyond repair and just waste your time with 0 income.
Just picked up on sale, figured the devs would continue to support this game, but they are starting another cash grab. The couldnt get boats to work right and fix the crashes in this one, no way would I buy the next iteration of grind boat and have a messed up endgame. Crashes one I bought a trawler. Very repetitive up until that point. Give this a hard pass and buy something else instead.
Here are the notes I posted with my refund request: The basics of an excellent game are here which makes it frustrating and confusing as to why the game is not polished (i.e. finished). It has crashes, the controls are clunky and as mentioned it generally needs polish. Fix the crashes, revamp the controls (I use controller) and generally polish the game including improving the game play loop and there is a great game here. Based on discussions on the forum it sounds like the game is abandoned so I don't have much hope for improvement at this time so I guess, sadly, it's best to refund it at this point.
Amazing game with high quality graphics and realism, really feels like your actually going fishing in nova scotia. With the realism of harpooning, Trawling, Dredging, Longlinin, Deeplining, Lobster, Crab and net fishing it truly is an amazing game and is worth the purchase. It also has an intriguing gameplay as some of the best ships require being creative and finding them yourself (if you want to get a great start get the snarset Asap 700k-1.1m per 5000 hook line which is just overpowered). Anyways heavily recommend As if you want something fun and also realistic this is for you i already have 17 hours of playtime after having it for 1 and a half days lol.
i really love this game. it is a few years old but i find myself coming back to this game quite frequently. pros, crew management is very user friendly which i really like, autopilot is my best friend when navigating the waters. game is well polished with no issues running the game. wide variety of fisheries and ways to fish. awesome graphics. cons, the only con that i really have is one of my favorite things to do in this game is crab fish. i kind of don't like the fact that crab can be seen and detected on the sonar and depth finder, its unrealistic and there should be a separate mechanic of fishing those and the current mechanics make it too easy. when fishing this species should be going by tips from the town bar or just simply putting pots in the water where you think crab are just like what you would see in Deadliest Catch for example. you either catch crab or you dont which would add to the thrill. would be nice to add multiplayer or co-op. the game does get a little boring to play by yourself and would be nice to crew up with a buddy. do i recommend this game. if your into fishing games in general. absolutely.
The Devs do not support it any more , the game is incomplete
