I like the game, its well executed. low key horror vibes, the background sound effects etc. The game could have been over a few hours earlier but there is a lot of bloat content that takes away from the game but that isn't why this review is negative. This would have been a positive review but what I didn't like is the SPAM opening links at the end credits, opening my web browser to leave a steam review and then opening links to your discord is not cool. Its our choice to do that, even add links inside game but force opening links? I don't like it.

Caveat: I played this in English. The idea of this isn't new; in fact I've played others like Replica and A Lost Phone. I really wanted to like this one, but I don't think I can recommend it. I think the writing is pretty bad, the chat conversations interrupt too much, and the puzzles are not fulfilling. Because the English is weird, the minigame where you choose the words in order to make a sentence was a bit of a crapshoot because there was phrasing used in it that wasn't natural. That's true for the whole game. The video and audio portions are a lot better, but the text (which is most of the game) is weak. It's not expensive so I'm not asking for a refund, but I don't think it's a good version of this type of game.

The English is awkward, and I laughed out loud at how bad some of the acting is. Game forced me to work with Anna's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ex and a total stranger she met on a dating app, and then punished me when I tried to talk to her best friend instead. When the audio recordings glitched out so no sound played and the subtitles scrolled by way too fast to read I decided I'd had enough. DNF.

one of my first mystery games, i played it on my phone when it first came out and since it was on sale i figured i'd re-play it! it will get you hooked!!! deffo need to play it if you like horror mystery games with a lotta of jumpscares!

This is definitely a game you play only a couple of times, but when you do it's long and great. The overall lore that makes up the game is extremely interesting in my opinion, and the careful framing of character interactions and their definitions make them memorable overall. My personal favorite part was hunting for all the endings and secret easter eggs. Only thing that I didn't really like was the lack of save points. Endings are arguably the most important parts of the game, yet you are forced to restart from the very beginning after getting an ending. This can be a bit frustrating when you chose the wrong option and got an ending that you already have. The game does give you a faster experience where the text goes faster after achieving your first ending, however I feel like a save point would make more sense in this case.

Played this years ago and remembered loving it, so I decided to replay it.

I cannot recommend this game enough! The sounds in this game will have you questioning if someone is in your room! Freaking loved the story!
