Wanted to like this game but never ending floors with combats in each room without any story is not exactly my view of well spent lifetime. But if you are into this kind of game I think you will find it good. Just don´t expect anything except repetitous combats with loots.
Game is Abandoned!!!!!
Well, this was a nice surprise. I don't even remember how I came to own this game, maybe it was in a bundle, or I got one of those % off when crafting a badge. Anyway, it sat untouched for a long time until I decided to try it recently, and now I can't put it down! It's a simple premise. Create a party of adventurers, enter a dungeon, kill and loot, rinse and repeat. While that sounds simple, there's so many items to grab, so many different ways of levelling up your character abilities, a variety of different approaches you can take, that it never gets boring. You keep looking at the stairs to that next level, wondering if you're good enough to climb them. If you enjoyed the old time game from the 90's, Eye of the Beholder, then you're very likely going to enjoy this too. Now excuse me, got to go try a new party!
It's not pretty but it's fun.
Boring and uninspiring. If you want a dungeon crawl just to go through rooms and kill things, get this. Otherwise pass. Classes, class abilities, and some of the monsters are lifted from World of Warcraft. The devs also rate their own games on dummy account. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9nFXr76W9Q
easy game
While it is abandoned, this is likely going to be one of my favorite roguelike dungeon crawlers of all time. It ticks too many boxes for me including diablo style loot, random dungeons, ability to exit after each level, feeling of progression even after a short session. It's great! Only downside is that you need to update the XML in your docs to start in offline mode as this game doesn't support online play anymore. Update settings.xml found in %appdata%/roaming/zavis tower/xml/ <offlineOnly>1</offlineOnly> I'm hoping to try and finish this game! If anyone knows any similar games please let me know! Oh and this game runs completely fine on Steam Deck! I just run in proton experimental which resolved some sluggishness.

Zavix Tower is a low end dungeon crawler that does little to put it apart from others. At it's best it is mediocre. At it's worst, it's boring. Not to mention the whole leveling system is lifted straight from World of Warcraft. Everything from talents, effects, and even names. It's one thing to be inspired or influenced but this is such a shameless ripoff that I would honestly be embarrassed if my name was attached to the production of this game. It really is shameless with no effort to hide or change anything. In the end Zavix Tower was more concerned with trying to imitate something that was popular than with actually trying to be original or good. Considering how basic the game is and how much of it is straight copy and paste I honestly feel like I overpaid for it when I bought it for $10. Maybe if it's on sale or you really like dungeon crawler RPGs you might pick it up and have fun with it. Other than that, you should probably just move on as there is really nothing of interest to see here.
Game must be played online. 0/10 Do not recommend.
