I wish players would follow the oldschool rules more. Still, nice game.
Went to work, someone scuffed my shoes and I said it was ok as I gave him a reassuring smile. It wasn't. (Filled with blinding rage) Lunch time comes around and I ask if wants to learn to play a card game. Tell him I'll teach him to play and it'll be friendly, he agrees. (Big mistake) I immediately turn it into a shadow game. He's perturbed by the voices of the damned and the purplish black haze that has replaced the off-white walls and motivational posters. I tell him it's fine and it's just my Bluetooth speaker that's mimicking the screams and the bloody apparition of Juan (old janitor that went missing after spilling soda on my khakis) is just a trick of the lighting and not his tortured soul trying to warn him of danger. He doesn't buy it, but it's too late. (his deck is entirely triplicates of level 2 and 3 monsters with no effects) He tries to play as best he can, but I've mislead him on the rules intentionally. As a joke. His screams of terror fade as his immortal soul is claimed by the dark. Laughing abominations tearing into his very being. I sit alone in blessed silence, taking out my lunch. His wife calls his phone and the echoing ringing is my only company as I unwrap my sub. I feel no guilt, no shame in what I've done. It is just, but as I take my first bite I realise the disinterested teenager at Subway forgot my mayo. I chew thoughtfully, understanding that they may enjoy learning how to play a children's card game. 10/10 would steal more souls in a card game again.

[h1] Easy to make over 50% winrate deck and unlock all campaign. [/h1] There is no forbidden or limited list on campaign. Once you play a duelist with a card like Raigeki, Harpie's Feather Duster, Solemn Judgement, Pot of Greed, etc, just keep playing them over and over until you unlock 3 copies of the card you want. You will always get some cards from their deck until you have 3 copies of every card in their deck, meaning you are eventually guaranteed 3 copies if you play them enough. Do this until you have an OP deck and finish campaign on GGEZ mode. Make sure to do reverse duels along the way using your OP deck to get 100%. Also easy to get cash playing campaign to spend in card shop and unlock specific decks you want to play after that. Grandpa Muto is great value early game since his packs only cost 200 cash monies and you get Raigeki from him.

Clearly the best Yu-Gi-Oh game currently available to purchase and play.. but there isn't much competition.. Pros, By FAR one of the most content ridden PC port of a real life card game, there is an insane amount of content. So many cards from so many generations, I mean it is truly overwhelming. NO microtransactions.. you must earn the cards you need to retain the upper hand. So many opponents.. various generations of the cards themselves.. battle types. This game can be brutal and you can seriously get stuck even on a winning streak which keeps it interesting. Controls are simple.. I mean what did you expect from a card game port? For the price you will get 50+ hours out of this game if you are achievement hunting. A good mixture of both classic stuff and the more modern stuff which appeals to all fans. Far superior to anything else they have pumped out since this. Cheaper than buying the real things! Cons, Repetitive soundtrack. Learning curve can be quite high. I don't think the AI rely on RNG. This game is not perfect. But it is by FAR one of the better card video games on the platform. Worth a buy even up to £15 in all honesty, a fantastic nostalgia trip.
While the story in the game is quite entertaining, the card collecting aspect is good and the gameplay itself is fine, i cannot reccomend this game mainly for the following reasons: 1) A pretty significant part of both the card pool and story duels are gatekept by several DLCS which, when combined, cost way more than the base game showing a pretty clear way of trying to milk as much money as possible from the player. 2) This game was pretty much abandoned in term of card availability and basically you have to buy a new game (link evolution) to get some of the newer ones. Which isn't bad in and of itself however due to the DLCS it's clear what they were going for (ie money). 3) The connection for the online duels is quite slow TL;DR: If you want to play versus an AI in a sort of story mode buy Link Evolution however if you want to play yugioh with other players i suggest getting something else.
Esperava bem mais desse jogo. Quando comprei estava ansioso para testar, sentir a nostalgia das cenas antigas do anime, poder montar meu proprio deck. No entanto, o jogo eh bem superficial nessa interacao dos personagens, montar um deck ai eh bem chatinho e nao me divertiu.
