A brutal godlike village sim that melds the god game, management, and tower defense genres! Fight off hoards of monsters at night, and expand your village in the day time. Inspired by games like Black and White, Rimworld, and Dwarf Fortress but not quite like any of them.

Don't listen to "game is abandoned" bull-crap reviews. It's a complete, released game, amazing city builder / tower defense. You pay for this, a "finished product" not "free updates forever product".
The game was objectively better before they introduced the Trash system that not only bogged down the logistics, but drains resources, manpower, and adds literally nothing of actual worth. And that was basically the last content update before they pushed it to 1.0 and bailed.
Some recent reviews claim it's "abandoned" when it is actually complete.
I just saw the Dev's Twitter for the first time and WOW, what a gross person. Wish I could refund this.
abandoned far too soon
Throws you into the game with a "figure it out yourself" attitude. I gave it 8 tries before giving up. Not for me. Also the zoom level is way too close. It felt like playing at 640x480 on my 4k monitor.
Have a list about the less appreciated features that I really enjoy: - Kill mobs in the menus to receive a sound reward! - Discover iconic references all around the in-game world! - Touch everything! - Make Drag-n-Drop your weapon of choice! - Watch your people prosper on a perfectly gluten-free diet! - Cloud-Gazing: Can you guess the shape? - Spend hours looking for sparkly circles! - Fortify your village with trash-cubes! - And so much more!
Great city building game. its a punishing game but fair. and it takes time and trying a lot to get a city going. let alone more than 1. the game still needs updating. currently the dificulty of the game hides the the small amount of content and the game loop get pretty clear after that. but until you get there you"ll spend about 100 hours. i think really fun and pretty game. try to play with particles turned on the max btw. seeing a cloud of particles flying around never gets boring
Positive review because this game is a blast and you can sink hours into it. It has elements of games like Rim world but harder and a lot less is explained or tracked. The problem i have is that it could be so much more if a little bit more balance and item tracking was added. The developer seems to have abandoned the game with no warning or reason. Yes it can qualify as a finished game and you can have a lot of fun with it as is, but it would be so much better with a little more attention. Yes i understand that games stop getting updated after a while but as someone who seen the plans secured update after a couple years of nothing, i got exited and that has turned to disappointment. The developer has done bursts of bug fixes and updates over a couple of months every couple of years then faded away again with no warning. As someone who has owned and played this game for almost 10 years, I have seen it grow and evolve and have always had it on my downloaded list and play it on and off quite often. I would always recommend to pick it up, especially on sale but be aware that towards the mid to late game on your first base in the map (once you get that far, which is not easy and not accomplished on your first run unless you drop the difficulty all the way) your tower of resources and manpower will start to wobble, and in the mad dash to keep everything from toppling you will start noticing that some things don't flow and you get that EA feel from slightly janky game systems that haven't been fully balanced, and in my opinion that is where you get the abandoned comments from everyone, as these systems haven't been addressed. Overall Buy the game. Its good for quite a few hours of fun. Just treat it like an old-school disk based game where there is no hope of updates and learning to work around and take advantage of a couple janky systems was part of the fun.
Great game, sadly - abandoned. Can't recommend it, cause dev care only about new project.
