Отличная игра, благодаря которой я познакомился с этой серией и в итоге прошел все остальные части.

otro YS que no decepciona. Buena historia, entretenida, combate divertido. Incluso si es tu primer juego de YS, creo que es una buena opción para empezar en la saga.

This game is beautiful

I mean its Ys, what cant i say if youve been a fan since book 1 an 2. Theres nothing for me to say but get ready for VII another great game in the series. If youre new to Ys series youre gonna love it. I recomend starting at book 1 an 2 or chronicles, but thats the good part cause you dont have too to enjoy this series. Ive been playing Ys since the Turbografx CD/ TurboDuo came out. late 80s early 90s. Another great game in the series

[h1]Previously, on Dragon Ball Ys, Adol crashed another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boat. When will he ever learn to sail? When will he ever get the girl? TUNE IN, NOOOW![/h1] Well, this was a wild change of pace. This Ys game introduces parties. You are no longer flying Solo as Adol. You can play as Dogi for the first time and he's a POWERHOUSE. I hope I can use him in future games...[i]it SURE would be a massive mistake to never let me play as him again. It SUUUUURE would be.[/i] Other than the party system, this game focuses on two other gimmicks. Damage types(Strike, Slash, and Pierce) and DRAGON ENERGY(TM). You now know why I decided to make the reference above. You basically need a balanced party for a good portion of the game. Certain enemies will either take little damage or NO damage from certain damage types. Dragon Energy comes in the form of skills and EXTRA skills. Skills are special moves that you can learn from weapons. Once you level up the skill from 0 -> 1, you have the skill permanently and can use it with different weapons. The max is 10. [b]PRO TIP: The skill that is assigned to a certain weapon will gain extra experience points if you use the weapon to level up the skill. In other words, use the weapon that the skill came from(or can come from) to level it up faster if that's what you want to do.[/b] EXTRA skills are super moves. Each party member has their own unique one. There's also party effects that are technically part of EXTRA skills, but I'll let you discover that on your own. One aspect of the game that I found myself both enraged at myself and this blatant oversight, is that there's a mechanic that is introduced and never explained again. There's no explanation in the help menu just in case you forgot. It's called [b][u]FLASH GUARD[/u][/b]. I cannot stress this enough, LEARN THIS MOVE. It's your best defensive option since rolling through attacks is an extremely tight window. You execute this by holding the Skill button(Mine was L2), and then hitting R2. This will nullify damage and get you more meter for your skills. Don't be like me and have to awkwardly learn this towards the end of the game. So, I did like these new mechanics to a point. I do prefer the solo adventures of Adol and I definitely prefer how Oath of Felghana or Ys VI played, personally. The story was nice and had some neat twists and turns. The music was fantastic. I'd put it up there with one of Nihon Falcom's best soundtracks. This game was long. Not as long as my playtime, I went for some unnecessary achievements for minimal bragging rights. As I've said in other reviews, I PREFER when Ys is short and sweet. I hear that the games get longer though....much longer. Oh dear. Will I make it through the rest of the series with my sanity? Will I actually make it to Ys 10? Will I even enjoy any Ys games after this? Will I finally witness Adol sailing like a pro? Find out next time on-....nevermind. That joke got old. Yes, I recommend this game.
