Long, long ago, there was an ancient kingdom called Ys which prospered under the auspices of two heavenly Goddesses. Over time, the kingdom came to be known as Esteria, and its divine history was largely forgotten by all but the descendants of those who once preached the Goddesses’ will.

No stupid grinding. No learning curve. No feeling that they added boring content just for lenght sake. Smooth.
Muito bom.
Ys I review: If this is the very worst of Ys series then that's excellent news. Game's mostly enjoyable. General 'sense of adventure' and interesting lore are present. Art looks very good and gives the world its spark. Widely criticized bumb-system combat is more than tolerable, quite refreshing and fun most of the time. Possibly the biggest highlight was the soundtrack, which turned out to be on par with my favourites. And thus, my reception is mostly positive. However, be aware of three major problems, which can get you to the brink of insanity here. Poor dungeon design - the dungeons are mostly quite tight and are cluttered with constantly respawning enemies, which collides with the combat system. Vague puzzles and progression - you will very likely need a guide to beating the game, since some steps appear to be completely unintuitive and random, certain bosses will require particular equipment to be dealt with effectively. AAAND THE THIRD PROBLEM - THERE ARE NO FUN BOSSES. ONE OR TWO WERE MERELY ACCEPTABLE ALL THE REST CAN GO TO HELL. I BLOODY HATE THEM. Do yourself a favor, don't play this on high difficulty, it's pure torture.
Ys I
Quite the fun game! Once you invest a bit of time in it, you just won't have enough. and it may not seem like it, but there are many things to see happen with characters.
The music is awesome, the combat (bump) system is a bit "clunky", the story is very simple since the game is a remake from the 80s. often in discount.
