X-COM: Enforcer

For an XCOM game, it shares little to no resemblance with any prior entry in the series, other than the fact that there is aliens. For a third person shooter it is alright, other than the fact that you can't really move your camera left right up down in 3D it's like somewhat 2.5D. As a mindless horde shooter type game it's heavily outclassed imo by Serious Sam: TFE which came out in the same year to a much higher quality. Like I said it's not a horrible game, it's pretty short, I had some fun for a bit, but it overshadowed by it's peers. And it's not even XCOM. Maybe as a new IP maybe it would've had some merit back in the day.

It could have been an OK game without the XCom label, even then i would rate it a 5 maybe. But as a watered down XCom game, it is a 2/10 for me. Boring, repetetive, not worth your time. If you want something similar, play MDK.

Абсолютно аркадный шутер от третьего лица, не каноничный для X-Com, при этом по большей части не напряжный в плане геймплея. Собственно, геймплей здесь незамысловатый - простенький shoot' em up с небольшой вариативностью заданий. Но именно такой геймплей с короткими уровнями и позволяет залипнуть и "просто пострелять" (сравнимо, пожалуй, с аркадным автоматом) без глубокого погружения в сюжет, механики прокачки (здесь это присутствует в сильно упрощённом виде) и вне блуждания по лабиринтам. Прохождение, в моём случае, заняло примерно 6 часов, на среднем уровне сложности. Иногда такие игры нужны - как способ отвлечься или переключиться с серьёзных тем на "просто отдых"; не стоит этого недооценивать, хотя бы изредка

Stupid, fun, and completely broken. It stutters all the time and XCOM in name only, but if you want some mindless TPS action, this is your game

Actually hilariously bad. I think it might have been trying to be funny on purpose? I don't even know why some things were happening - weapons just seem to spawn into the level next to you randomly.... because reasons? Might be good for a laff - Videogame equivelent of watching a bad movie.
