most reviews seem to be coming at this from being old x-com players which makes sense its part of the franchise but its not xcom... its a nice little mash up of the 360/ps3 days cover shooters like gears of war mixed with the squad commands of mass effect story is ok and gameplays good by no means a goty contender for the year it released but its a good game that wears its influences for all to see and a good one to pass a weekend by

Loved it, graphics still hold good after 13 years, loved the play style with 2 other agents, the guns, the fighting and the story was quite unique and interesting.

Перед нами игра совмещающая в себе вселенную XCOM и геймплей Mass Effect ( укрытие, управление отрядом, главная база все это прямо взято из МЭ). Мы играем за агента Картера который состоит в бюро и нам предстоит столкнуться с врагом поопаснее чем коммунизм (действие игры происходит в период холодной войны). У нас есть основной сюжет цель которого так же как и в тактической версии игры XCOM противостоять инопланетному вторжению. У нас есть своя база "БЮРО" где мы между заданиями можем пообщаться с другими агентами , раздобыть полезную информацию и узнать кого что волнует. Между миссиями основными у нас будет возможность выполнять побочные миссии ( выбирая их так же на карте как и основные). Тут так же мы можем набирать команду по специальностям, прокачивать их, руководить через паузу во время боя. В игре присутствует и разнообразие противников и оружия и различные тяжёлые моменты в которых нам предстоит с умом выбирать команду и стиль боя. Поклонникам Масс Эффекта или XCOM (желающим поиграть в любимой вселенной в другой оболочке) игру рекомендую, не пожалеете.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified was kind of a MEH game for me. The tactical part of the game isn't good. Would have been much better as a shooter. MEH

Top reviews beat me to it. The concept and setting is intriguing, and it nails the atmosphere and vibe of the time. But the gameplay quickly stales and the story falls apart into a rushed mess. If it was more solidly put together, I'd say it's criminal they're charging only $20, but as it stands, this rushed package deserves a buy on sale.

Great story! Be aware that it is not played like any other XCOM of the series. Really like playing it, even if sometimes the AI doesn't do what we want. I think it should at least be done in easy mode for the story and the universe.

The game only crashes I mean I don't have a monster PC but never had an issue with other more demanding games

I've recently just downloaded the game and thought i would give it a try, the first 45min in the first mission at veteran difficulty was kinda boring but after that it went all the difficult up as i like challenges. This Game kinda reminded me of Mass Effect when i was playing it back then, sure you can discuss about the story-line or complain about ,,Not being the XCOM'' you're used to, but seriously this game deserves its praise for being well done and it's really a hidden gem. Maybe in the future i'll try to play it on Commander Difficulty, since the last mission was hard as hell i literally had died there like 5-6 times but thank goodness i finished it. I dont mind the bugs i've encountered either, since it's rather fun to have bugs and play legit on an older game than playing todays useless Tripe A Games where they release games without a decent production or loads of issues. No Issues from my End, totally liked it and i'd recommend it no matter how ,,Mixed'' the reviews are. Let the cry babys be cry babys and let the grown ups do the talking.
