About
The Old World is rotting. Its Guardians have fallen. The corruption spreads.
You are the Outlander, pulled from the Ageless Sea and bound to a grim purpose by the Shepherd of Wayward Souls. Enter ancient ruins and dead forests. Tear through swarms that hunt in packs. Keep moving, keep firing, keep cutting, or the gloom takes you.
Brutal Edition is WRATH rebuilt and enhanced for VR, driven by a simple philosophy: deliver a more visceral experience. Expect enhanced dynamic movement, over-the-top combat, ramped-up bullet effects, and a helluva lot of blood. This edition also restores and refines the experience with wide-ranging improvements to combat feel, audio, effects, and overall polish. It’s the definitive way to play Wrath and you’re going to make a damn big mess doing it!
WRATH: Aeon of Ruin VR - Brutal Edition is built for speed and pressure. It is circle-strafing panic, close-range brutality, and constant decision-making. Which hand is clearing space? Which hand is landing the shot? When to slide, when to dash, when to throw an artifact and take the opening it creates.
Dual-wielding at the core: Bring two weapons into the fight and run the battlefield your way.
Physical reloads and handling: Reload with a quick flick of the wrist and stay sharp when the pressure spikes.
Two-handed control rewards: Stabilize your weapon for better control, tighter spread, and access to alt-fire where available.
Blade dash, rebuilt for VR: Charge and launch with your blade for fast repositioning and advanced movement.
High-velocity slide: Keep momentum through tight spaces and turn movement into a weapon.
Physical artifacts with unique interactions: Select an artifact and use it like an object, not a button prompt.
Throw, break, deploy: Bring dark tools into the fight and use them under fire.
Non-linear levels stuffed with hidden routes: Explore crypts, sunken ruins, corrupted temples, and cursed wilds.
Old-school structure, modern VR flow: Big spaces, brutal fights, constant tension.
In-Run Difficulty options: Tune damage values on the fly without stripping the world bare.

Leaving a positive review here, now, even though I'm only a short ways into the game. What TeamBeef and Flat2VR do for VR gaming cannot be overstated enough. Thank you for the work you do across all your various projects. For the game itself? Yeah, it's awesome. High-fidelity VR mechanics packaged into a whoop-ass thrill ride at a price that says 'We want you to play this.'
WRATH: Aeon of Ruin VR is a great example at flatscreen ports done right. Not only was this a great pick for a game to port to VR, but the added polish went a long way into making this feel like it was always meant for headsets. I'll 100% be playing this game more as time goes on, and as long as you can handle being thrown around in VR, I'd easily recommend this game. If you're interested, I also published a much more detailed review on YouTube covering all the things I found throughout my playthrough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bYVfmz9SGU
Just finished playing wrath it took me 16 hours . The game is an absolute blast of old retro boomer shooters the violence and gore are all top of the line and quick fast combat Fun music, Interesting, unique weapons And The environments are an absolute joy, especially the last ones near the end I definitely recommend this game.
Das macht mehr Spaß als es sollte. Flat2VR Studios hat wieder geliefert.
This game is not something for me It looks great and its fun to explore the levels and find all the eastereggs but some enemies feel unatrually fast idk if its fps bound but its too fast for me.
Excellent Excellent Excellent Classic, done correctly, Flat2VR Studios is so great at this, i will always support them
If you like Doom, Heretic, & Quake, you'll like this. It has 3 hubs with 5 levels each, and each level takes around 45 min to beat, so the game is long. You can dual-wield, use powerup artifacts, and use slo-mo. My only gripes are the music isn't very good (not rockin' enough), and interactions are a button press instead of reaching out and pressing a button or pulling a lever. https://youtu.be/8UOYMtFP8pE
JAMES BOND - NIGHTFIRE VR, PLEASE !!! TAKE MY MONEY!!! Wrath is incredible 10/10, but after the new James Bond - First Light SLOP, you can make millions with Nightfire! Pierce Brosnan was the real deal BTW.
I was part of the playtest and received the game for free. Boomer shooters are probably one of my favorite genres to play in VR. This is pretty much everything you'd want from a flat-to-VR conversion of Wrath. It plays smooth. Has all the options you would want. Looks and runs great. If you've been in VR for a while and motion sickness isnt a concern anymore, it can get annoying that most new titles are still designed for new players. This is like a niche within a niche within a niche... But whenever a game comes out that is clearly throwing those 2016 VR conventions out the window, I get excited. Not to say there aren't options here to help with motion sickness, because there is. And people might be surprised how playable something like this is. But for the guys that want to bhop around and smooth turn at break-neck speeds, this is for us lol. If you're new to boomer shooters, or never tried one in VR, this is worth a shot. Maybe start on an easier difficulty. If you played Amid Evil VR and loved it, you'll enjoy Wrath. Or if you played the Doom and Quake vr mods... then you already know whats up. This is definitely a bit more challenging though in my opinion. Support what these guys are doing and hopefully we can see more of this in the future! Flat2VR and Team Beef are awesome and frankly they're doing what other studios aren't willing to do. For that they have my respect.
Looks great! I just tried for 10 minutes to make sure everything worked well. It did! I loved it! TO ME feels like quake 2 but a lot more flexible. I'll will say more later. I have a Pimax Crystal Light.
