Worlds Upon The Wind

I've only scratched the surface, but this is a unique special game. It presents puzzles you must solve using your 'deck of cards' to meet each stage's requirements, which results in you exploring the lands and establishing outposts/villages. All steeped in mystical japanese culture and kanji (a whole minigame you can play if you want). I'm eager to see where this game takes me. Right now, I'm very intrigued and look forward to my next session. Worth a look!

Lovely game. Just try the demo for a good hour. Chill and get to understand and enjoy all the little details that makes this game its own style of gameplay and feeling. It's just so well done, UI, Artstyle, systems, progression, accessibility... Allocate cards with simple symbols to make ressources and take advantage of little bonus from cards you don't use. Get through nicely written events that give you meaningful choices both on the moment and sometimes for your whole playthrough. Just a great, great simply well done, original and pleasant game, with a big touch of japanese culture (language, illustrations...).

This is a lovely gem of a game, unlike anything else I've played before. The central gameplay loop is engaging and the meta-progression quests unlock new content at a perfect rate. And it's absolutely beautiful -- the more you keep playing, the more you notice lovely little touches and pieces of polish. The (solo) developer is also more responsive than any other dev I've seen. I had trouble reading some of the smaller content, so he added a custom zoom within _one day_ of me asking -- and this was two days before release! I can't imagine a better game to buy to support independent development.

It's a uniquely chill deckbuilder roguelite that's polished, content-rich, and priced very attractively for what you're getting here. It's also got some neat language learning aspects to it as well, but they're optional... this is decidedly a fun videogame first and foremost, it doesn't feel like thinly-veiled homework in the way that games whose primary pitch is language learning tend to.

This is a real gem. I found it completely by accident and the demo completely sold me on it. The gameplay is interesting and simple to understand, but has intricacies that I enjoy. I did not expect to enjoy the story bit as much, but I really do. Everything is well made, well written and well thought out. The music is also amazing and quite an ear bug, been in my head for days now. Definitely worth the money, honestly it's a steal. But if you're unsure if it's for you, the demo can definitely give you a good idea of how the game works. Honestly, 10/10 for me.

This game is a harmonious blend between hard-core number crunching of your typical card-drafting board games and mind-calming aesthetic appreciation. Between the soothing music, eye-opening arts, and cold-blooded repetition of the same term just to find out the best combination of playing your cards -- it's very easy to kill a few hours without you even notice.

A really chill game that is educational, as well. Absolutely recommended.
