So, you open both bars and expand them as far as you can and then what? The game is over after that. Why can't we extend the 'hound and hare' further? You need a goal and this game doesn't have a goal, other than opening both bars. That's not much of a goal though. I shouldn't have bought the game as there isn't enough meat on the bone for a price tag.
unfortunately its been abandoned
Abandoned it seems...
Viszont erre a 10-12 órára tökéletes kikapcsolódás!
This game is a very addictive one, but yet quite difficult (at least for me at the start) and while i agree it needs polish and some changes, it has gameplay down. The bell model sometimes its string floats around and sometimes particularly when there are no chairs they just walk inside of each other lol. But as I say a fun and addictive game, here is my First Impression video for Pub Sim: https://youtu.be/cRQDEOq87MQ
Much cheaper than buying a real pub! Would recommend.
This game had me raging at the achievements. I played the demo back when it was out, loved it. Then met my greatest enermy the achievements. I had a blast building my pub, learning the game and eventually. 100% the game! Would recommend to any simulator lover!
This game needs investors, to allow the devs to continue to grow the game. You can see that they've had to stop developing and it shows in it's current stages. Hopefully this project can be well and truly kickstarted for the two devs that produced the game because it has promise, but they need help! So buy and support the devs, in order for the devs to support your gaming experience.
Меня очень приятно удивил этот симулятор! Буду дальше проходить. Обзор: https://youtube.com/live/IQx9gZghKXc?feature=share
Pub Sim, developed and published by 1st impact games, is a grounded first-person management simulation that tries to capture the everyday rhythm of running a small pub by putting the player directly into the role of both owner and worker. Instead of abstracting management into menus and spreadsheets, it leans into physical interaction, asking you to pour drinks, clean surfaces, restock supplies, and deal with customers in real time. This design choice defines the experience, giving it a more immediate and immersive feel compared to more traditional tycoon-style games. The gameplay begins on a modest scale, with a small, somewhat rundown pub that requires attention before it can even operate efficiently. Early tasks are simple—cleaning tables, organizing stock, learning how to serve drinks properly—but they establish a foundation for the broader simulation. The game introduces its systems gradually, allowing players to understand the flow of work without overwhelming them. As customers begin to arrive, the pace picks up, and the player must balance multiple responsibilities at once, creating a sense of pressure that feels appropriate for the setting. What makes Pub Sim engaging is the interplay between manual tasks and business management. Every action has a direct impact on the pub’s success, from how quickly drinks are served to how well the environment is maintained. Pricing decisions, inventory control, and customer satisfaction all feed into the financial side of the game, requiring players to think beyond the immediate moment. Over time, the simulation expands, introducing more complex considerations such as optimizing profits, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring that the pub remains attractive to customers. As the business grows, players gain access to upgrades and additional features that help streamline operations. Hiring staff becomes an important step, allowing certain tasks to be delegated, though this introduces new challenges related to cost and efficiency. Employees are helpful but not perfect, and relying on them too heavily without proper management can lead to problems. This creates an ongoing balance between hands-on involvement and oversight, encouraging players to adapt their approach as the scale of the pub increases. The presentation is functional and straightforward, focusing on clarity rather than visual flair. The pub environment evolves alongside the player’s progress, with upgrades providing visible improvements that reinforce the sense of growth. While the graphics are not particularly detailed or stylized, they serve the gameplay well, ensuring that interactions are easy to follow. The first-person perspective enhances immersion, making even routine actions feel more engaging by placing the player directly in the middle of the operation. However, the game’s structure does have its limitations. The core gameplay loop—serving, cleaning, restocking—remains largely consistent throughout, and while upgrades add layers of management, they do not fundamentally change the nature of the experience. Over extended sessions, this can lead to a sense of repetition, especially for players who are looking for more varied challenges or deeper systems. The simulation is effective within its scope, but it does not push far beyond it. There are also occasional rough edges in terms of polish and responsiveness. Certain interactions can feel slightly awkward, particularly when managing multiple tasks under pressure, and AI behavior is not always as refined as it could be. While these issues are not severe enough to undermine the experience, they do highlight the game’s smaller scale and can momentarily break immersion. Despite these shortcomings, Pub Sim succeeds in delivering a focused and immersive simulation that captures the day-to-day realities of running a small business. Its strength lies in how it connects physical interaction with management decisions, creating a loop that feels both tangible and rewarding. The gradual progression from a struggling pub to a more successful operation provides a clear sense of accomplishment, even if the path there remains relatively straightforward. In the end, Pub Sim is a solid and approachable management simulation that offers a hands-on alternative to more abstract titles in the genre. It may lack the depth and variety of larger-scale simulations, but it makes up for it with its immersive design and steady progression. For players who enjoy being directly involved in every aspect of a business, it provides a satisfying and engaging experience. Rating: 7/10
