Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I'm giving this game a thumbs down mostly because of the technical issues the game has, but here's a full list my gripes with the game. I will say, this is a very objective list of reasons. Nothing here is actually breaking the game in a way you can't fix or work around, but they do add levels of frustration and/or annoyance that keep me from recommending it. - The game will almost assuredly crash for you as soon as you attempt to start the game if you do not go to the games file location and set both "WOFF.exe" and "WOFF_config.exe" to run as an administrator in the compatibility settings. - WOFF_config is your only way to adjust the games graphic settings. You can not adjust the graphics in game at all despite a popup saying you can after you start it. - Sound is a joke. The sliders do effect it, it's not that they don't work, the games volume is just ridiculously low for no reason. So when you close it you need to make sure to lower your volume or you're gonna either blast your ear drums out or disturb the neighborhood peace. - Do you like tutorials? I hope you do! Square Enix thinks you do! There are so many tutorials in the beginning of this game and they're not limited to popping up text windows. You get full cutscenes of over explanations on how to do ♥♥♥♥. - Do you like hearing "jokes" made literally every cutscene? Well, how about two jokes? How about three? I'm sure it's worse than this, I just haven't counted. It's overbearing how much they tried to inject humor with one liners or just making the characters stupid... that's not me making an insult, it's intentional and pointed out in the game. - Do you like really the-weird/annoying ways of the-speaking? The-all the time I mean. I dunno who the-thought this was a good idea. (If you haven't played it. That's how this character speaks. It doesn't make sense, it's not cute, it's just irritating when they open their mouth. Plus they sound like Paimon from Genshin.) - The control scheme they want you to use just forces you to use the classic one as well. They wanted this to feel more punchy so they give you shortcuts. But you're literally just better off using the menu because you lose out on tons of abilities and actual functionality like items without using a command to change the menu mid-fight. The one thing I really do like about this game is in the twins room. They got 1 semi-large bed. lol. Listen, jokes aside. I really do think that shows a level of thought put into the overall game. They couldn't even bother to give A BROTHER AND SISTER, two separate beds and it is THEIR room, not one or the other. There is a couch, but bro, you're gonna tell me one of them permanently sleeps on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥' couch? A quote from one of the god-like characters in the game herself: (and this game does do 4th wall breaks btw) "You needn't wonder about every little thing. The world has some secrets you're simply better off not knowing." With that bit of knowledge, you can say I'm reaching, you can say I'm a disgusting pervert who just wants it to be true... but you can't say the dots don't make a line. No wonder their parents decided to leave them.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
A Non-Mainline Mainline
I went into this game not expecting much. The chibi-like, playful, world has always been a deterrent for me. I'm happy to report that it is IN FACT all that...but more. There's genuinely good moments in this game, combat that goes much deeper than it has any right to.
Steam Issues
Folks are running into problems here on Steam. For me: - I just needed to go into Properties > Compatibility > Run As Administrator - You may need to change what version of Windows it runs in or other settings here as well, it's not a difficult fix if my potato of a PC can run it - For additional settings, on launch, pick the option that is not your native language. You can pick your desired Resolution, etc., there. This can be done in Steam Properties later as well. More settings will be in-game as well.
The World
There's some "nostagia bait" here, for sure. However, I don't think you are doing yourself a disservice by not experiencing any of the Final Fantasies this game touches on. The thing about this World is that it is almost aware of itself - dreamy, almost made of our own memory. It's familiar, but something just isn't right. One thing I didn't like initially was that the background was almost blurred until you got closer. I realized they did this on purpose. It gives the feel of those old school pre-rendered backgrounds....but it's alive now...it's an actual 3D environment. It's hazy, just like our memory. It's a cool detail to a story book world; The book is our memory. The dialogue in this game can be a bit...excessive and almost obsessive. In particular with degrading a certain character, that I would not like, but they dog on them so much that it's actually like "damn...i kinda feel bad for this dude. Screw these other guys." lol. Other than that, there are some genuinely funny moments in this game. It's just a constant, so not every joke will hit the punch.
Exploration
Much like above's sentiment, by modern standards, this is a very linear game. You are "traversing" what was the layouts of old school JRPG, and their pre-rendered backgrounds, but in a 3D environment. It feels more restrictive in that way, admittedly, but if you have played those older games and can grasp that concept (that this game is no different to them), then you'll be right at home. You'll be met with some obstacles that only Companion Abilities can get around, but every Dungeon will present them early to make sure the player is aware of what they'll probably need for the rest of it.
Companion Collecting
In this game, you practically have 2 Parties of 3, 6 total Party Members, 4 of which you can change into various configurations. Among your main 6, you also have plenty of Members in your "Off-Party" that can be swapped in at any time out of combat. These are the Companions you collect, yes, the PokeMans you collect. I'm grown out of this style of games, but this one was a bit different for me. When you meet the condition to "capture" a Companion (no it's not just getting them weak), they are come with their own Stats, Resistances, Abilities, and maybe Evolutions (Transfigurations as the game calls them). They are come with their own unique upsides and downsides. You can REALLY build out a team to your liking, or just use the Companions you like the look of most. There's ALOT to choose from, enough to fill whatever desire, Party composition, or playstyle you want to have.
Combat
Combat is what surprised me the most. It has depth. Depth you don't necessarily need to dive into to succeed, but it's there if you want it. This can be played in Active (Final Fantasy's classic ATB system) or Wait. Normally, I'm pro-Active without hesitation but myself and I think most others will prefer Wait. This does turn it into a true Turn-Based Combat game, but there are plentiful ways to speed things up. These options can also make Active your preference, too: - Shortcuts - make shortcuts for Abilities per Companion to quickly decide actions - Various Speed Modes - There is Normal Speed, Fast-Forward, Mega Speed, and you can combine Fast Mega Speed, too (not the actual names of them, but you get the idea lol) - Auto-Battle - This will repeat the last action you've done until you've run out of MP, which will default to Attack, as it does for the start of a Battle as well Your Companions have their own slew of Abilities that can be *Mastered* to be used in other Evolutions of their "Class", even if you decide to devolve them into an assumedly lesser form: - White Text Abilities and Stats are carried to every Evolution (Transfiguration) of that Creature listed - Green Abilities are only tied to that specific Transfiguration and won't carry over This means: every "Evolution" of a Companion can be relevant. A small version of a Companion can have all the Stat bonuses of it's later forms. I liked this a lot. It's merging a Job System within your Companions, because your "Off-Party" can fill in when their Job is beneficial. Your one Party of 3 inherits all the Stats, Abilities, and Resistances of what you combined; Your 2nd Party of 3 can specialize in something else or go all-in. Not to mention, this game also has the Materia system from Final Fantasy 7 with what is called Mirajewels. You slot in a Mirajewel and you get that Ability or Stat bump. You can capture Summons and have them in your Party as regular Companions. You can Summon Extra Large Companions to control them solely as one entity, just like Summons in Final Fantasy 10. You can use Champions to act like Limit Breaks or Quickenings from Final Fan---you get the idea. The combat is a mix of many systems that all gel together, if you choose to do so. They are options to success, not necessities. You can go DEEP into this game. Min-Maxing, Gonna Catch 'Em Alls...heck, this game also apparently has a PvP mode (I never did it).
TLDR
Overall, I was not expecting much with this game but was pleasantly surprised. I'm not one to go out of my way to 100% games and try to do everything as I go, and I didn't for this game either, but I wasn't hesitant to do a lot more than just the Main Story...or collect all the Companions I could within a Region. I was happy to do extra stuff until I didn't. It's all there if you want to go the extra mile, or stop the second you feel any friction. They really wanted The World of Final Fantasy to be an actual thing. I think they did well. It's up there with some Mainlines for me. And hey, I won't say no to some new Final Fantasy song renditions, too.
This is a wonderful though not the most difficult Final Fantasy. This is such a fun whimsical edition to the Final Fantasy franchise. As to launching issues, just go to local files and copy the EXE and put it on your start menu. I’ve heard about crash issues, but never had any such problems.
This game is only good for people who basically want very little game play, and repetitive dungeon crawling, while mostly watching videos with poorly written dialogue between characters. The concept was okay, but really do we need a cutscene every five minutes? and who thought 3-5 cutscenes back to back was necessary? I've tried the game three times but I just don't enjoy it.
Mi PC can't run it :(
🏆
This is a great game, do not buy it. This game is broken, it doesn't even launch any more. Report the game as broken.
I'm running this game through game native on android and it runs fine. I'm not too far in, but I'm enjoying the atmosphere so far. I hear it's not very difficult, but I think the battle system is interesting. If you like Final Fantasy and monster collectors I say give it a try!
I love this game, but the last patch broke the game so bad you can't launch it. But thank to Ragna_Ikari there is a fix https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3469041077
