Like War Thunder, but you make the planes and instead of death threats from others its from yourself.
I LOVE THIS "GAME" ITS BEEN A HUNDRED HOURS AND FINALLY I MADE A PLANE THAT IM SATISFIED WITH. tbh tho this game is great and finally its not abandoned anymore so i expect great things for this games future. 10/10 best CAD program ever.
Horrible UI, frequent bugs and glitches, generally bad execution. I've seen this called "comparable to Blender", and that is technically true because you can compare anything to Blender. For instance, my dog is quite bad at creating procedural geometry, which Blender isn't, so Blender objectively wins in that regard. Compared to Flyout, Blender has the clear advantage of a UX that was designed by a human. Sadly, due to the fact that Flyout was made by someone from upside-down land, where everyone is upside down, the UI is ass-backwards and therefore unusable. Attempting to fly your wretched creation first results in an inexplicably long loading screen (several minutes on a fast computer with an NVMe SSD!) and then in ineluctable disappointment, for whatever you've just created will glitch through the bottom of the map if you go down the wrong end of the runway. This software IS NOT FIT TO BE IN EARLY ACCESS. Objectively, it's in the Alpha stage, because it hasn't even reached feature-completeness yet. The list of missing features is absolutely endless, but for a start, the editor doesn't have an undo button! I am absolutely stoked for the game to be equipped with this outstanding sci-fi-age technology. Indeed, despite everything I've said, the game is in Early Access. I am aware of this, and I am aware that it's unrealistic to expect a piece of software to be perfected in Early Access. Still, Early Access is generally understood to mean that the general foundations and functions of the game are already there, and that you're helping to polish and expand upon them. Pointing out that an undo button is essential in any editor whatsoever, be it Microsoft Paint or the software that is used to control the heavy-duty robotic arm that is necessary to ferry your truly exceptionally fat mother out of bed every morning, is not a part of this task. I am going to request a refund for this game now. After this, I do not expect to ever give a single cent to this developer again. Requesting 19,99€ of my hard-earned money for this barely functional piece of software is nothing short of thievery. Like I said, this game is not fit to be in Early Access. There isn't much else to say, except, of course, that I do not recommend anyone to buy this game under any circumstances.

Dev ghosted us for two years lol
Ok, so I’ve been eyeing this game for a while and with it being on sale a few bucks I decided to pull the trigger. The 3.1 Hours that I’ve put onto it have been from just this evening. It is currently 2 in the morning. I have finished building my first plane, or rather logged off after making it fly (it burns through 3000l of fuel within 49 seconds so I gotta fix that tomorrow). This game is incredibly fun and I love it already, but please take my review with a bit of salt. This game has a learning curve more akin to a brick wall than anything else. It is basically glorified CAD software but the UI does not want to tell you how to use it to the point where figuring out how to make a hole in the fuselage took me a few minutes (FYI it’s just painting fuselage segments with the change material tool in the fuselage edit menu). I only was able to build something that looks decent and flies thanks to my previous experience with KSP, being undiagnosed, thinking that learning AutoCAD in my free time would be fun and overall previous knowledge on aerodynamics, similar software and so forth. So if you don’t have any of these, please don’t expect to build anything that takes off or flies well without a good few hours of trial and error or vigorous binging of 45 minute youtube tutorials that resemble a doctorate thesis in engineering more than a youtube tutorial for a game. Now with that out of the way, there is no other game that even comes close to this one. KSP is fun sure, but you have very little control over how your plane looks besides stock parts and some mods. Any other game where you can build a plane has the same problem. Sure this one doesn’t grab you by the hand and tell you how to set up the turbine so it actually works or not produce enough thrust to knock the earth off it’s axis. But if you stick with it, you will be rewarded with what I’ve found after 3 hours to be the most detailed, intricate and creative plane building game ever. I already love this game, it is awesome. Excuse my abhorrent punctuation and borderline schizophrenic grammar and sentences, it is late. I shall leave you all with a quote. “Icarus laughed as he fell, for he knew, for the CAD plane to fall, it meant, it burned 3000l of aviation fuel in 59 seconds and soared.” Marneus Calgar, builder of the jimjam2. Good night steam review readers, I will see you all in a few days when I figure out weapons in this game.
fly out is miles better then games like ksp or simple planes and especially trailmakers fly out is the most flexible and realistic game in its category but the ui does need work updates are on the slow side but i deem it a worthy sacrifice considering the work that goes into each one and to the people calling it abandedware after it just got an update "braindead slop player" when the dev has a life"game bad"
I LOVE FLOUT I HAVENT WENT OUTSIDE IN A YEAR RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
step 1 load game step 2 watch youtube tutorial step 3 spend 3 hours making plane step 4 nothing works step 5 rebuild evrything step 6 still not flying step 7 load factory plane step 8 fly plane step 9 crass plane step 10 whrite review
Its a shame the lead dev is an utter pinecone and has no use at all. The new modders working on the updates are great. Stone should step down and stop being a burden. Dont develop a game if you arent gonna develop a game.
Пожалуй лучший конструктор самолетов, который есть. Единственный минус - недостаток обновлений
