Wolfskin's Curse

"Wolfskin's Curse" is a garbage E-book that was dumped on Steam through Steam Direct for $100 USD. They'll let you publish anything really. Like all Ren'Py construction kits, the "author" filled out some basic template/notation stuff and dragged up some poor artwork (and worsee audio novel soundtrack) to pretend they can really write. Of course this is terribly written, if the "author" could write to any professional standard, they'd be published and their books would be on the shelves in bookstores. Instead, they had to pay $100 on Steam Direct and even then people didn't want it. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent readers... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. I can't recommend things which aren't games to gamers. My gaming rig is not a kindle. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
