It's whatever. I didn't particularly enjoy or necessarily hate this. The story progresses in a way that makes sense and the setting and stages are cool. The combat is ok. Those are the positives. The negatives are as follows: There is no substance here. Its a mindless looter shooter, with a story that hints at plotlines that would've made a much more interesting sequel. Instead, we get an entire storyline that is painfully stretched out into what could've been covered in a mission or two in a good game. They attempted to spice up the gameplay with the addition of co-op, a leveling up system, and enemies armored differently to encourage you to use a variety of weapons. None of it works well. The game is glitchy. There were several times were I had to reboot the game because of crashes or level-breaking bugs, like commander keys falling 20 stories down through the floor, forcing me to redo an entire boss fight. You will not care about the characters, and they will make you cringe. Anyways, it's alright. Probably not worth playing, if you're working your way through the series. You could probably find a 15 minute YouTube video about it that you'll get just as much out of from the 6 hours it takes to beat.

Co-op connection is ♥♥♥♥. Works well early game, but as you are nearing the end of the game, the connection somehow gets worse. Very short story but fun gameplay. Quest might get tedious and repetitive but its fine ig. Character dialouges are kinda cringe as it is not fully explained its own jokes Also runs well on my steamdeck
