Wolfenstein: Youngblood

worth a try, very fun and straight to the point. not as bad as people say (some of the dialogue is very corny tho lol) [[definitely buy deluxe if on sale, buddy pass is very good to play with friends for (almost) free

when you fix the co op, I'll play it. Stinks to make a 2 player game and make it impossible to connect to another player.

New to Wolfenstein. Game design seems good. However the perma-online design is weird. Advertise this as co-op louder. Would love a single player option and better save option designs. Menu design is boring and odd.

Malgré les nombreux avis négatifs sur le jeu, J'ai eu un peux peur. Mais au final, le faisant solo, le jeu est vraiment bien. Il est vrai qu'il est pensé pour jouer à deux, donc la difficulté est mal géré. Mais si vous faites les quêtes secondaires jusqu'au niveau 25/30. Le jeu sera simple, car en arrivant à ce niveau, vous allez débloquer tout ce qu'il vous faut. Mais aussi, ayant fait les autres wolfenstein, je trouve bon celui-ci. Ne soyez pas "effrayé" par de la difficulté, le côté rpg et l'ia un peut conne....

RECOMMENDED IF YOU CAN GET IT ON SALE. I got this for a few dollars, really only to complete my modern Wolfenstein collection, but overall I had a good time. I am not 100% done with the game yet, but I have gotten a good way through. Here's a breakdown: Audio: The audio sounds great. The footsteps, ammo pickups, and weapon sounds are satisfying. Gunplay: I enjoyed the gunplay a lot, especially with the mod system on the guns, bringing more depth to combat styles. The guns are not pinpoint accurate like in the other games, which I like. This gives value to trigger control for some guns and the accuracy stat. Story: Pretty much a suggestion. It's one of those games that if you're playing for the story you'll be disappointed. That's probably the worse part of this game. The story feels like it has zero weight to it. The Nazis are just copy paste generic bad guys. The dialog can be very tedious in game and there is almost zero character depth. There's a quest system bundled in that lets you progress at your own pace. You can either send the main missions immediately and get to the story fast or progress more through side missions and see all of the maps more. Combat: I liked the feel of the combat, but the introduction of health bars is very controversial. It removes a lot of the suspense behind bosses and larger enemies, because you know exactly how much more you need to shoot them. The stealth isn't bad, it's just very unnecessary. While I am split on the health bars, I really like the armor type system. It makes it so you can't just pick one gun and spray every enemy you see. Immersion: This game lacks real immersion like the other entries in the modern Wolfenstein franchise. I think this is due to the visual style, health bars, and companion system. Other than those items it is hard to put my finger on why it lacks the immersion. Performance and Graphics: I had no performance issues, the game ran well and looks great. Overall: This game is fun little arcade shooter that is definitely worth it if you can get it on sale. While there are definitely negatives, and things that are worse that Wolfenstein 2, it's hard to compete with that game, and I can never rag on a studio for trying something new instead of just copy-pasting their old games. Try it out, if you hate it just refund it.
