Wolfenstein: Youngblood

I have never been so humbled, by how terrible this game actually was. The RPG elements eliminate all of the quick, action-paced gameplay from Wolfenstein 2 by dropping in Bullet-Sponge enemies that are always 2 or 3 levels ahead of you. Have fun standing behind a wall and shooting one target. Initially, I believed that playing on a higher difficulty would benefit you with more XP gain, but no, the difficulties are only for "taste", by that you just extend your playtime by extra 5 hours because of the level gaps. The very first thing I noticed when opening the menu was the "Store" feature with lets you purchase microtransactions for "Gold" which lets you buy skins, in a co-op game, which you play with a friend. Why? The main characters you play as have by far the most, annoying and cliché dialogues, to the point it gets heavily piercing for the ears. They don't have much interesting to say except going "dude" every possible minute. What baffles me is the issues I had to go through with this game from the technical side of things, like I cannot even continue playing the game without having a catastrophic game freeze that forces me to restart my whole PC. What's even more hilarious is that one of those game freezes corrupted my primary SLOT0 (savefile), so I lost all my progress and 6 hours of my time. Amazing, I would say, just avoid this at all costs unless you REALLY want to try this out because of dumb curiosity, which is what I did. Don't be curious, don't get this game. The only serious positive I can give for this game, is that the Level Design is amazing, the exploration was something I really did enjoy. Each area felt unique and different, but even that couldn't save from the absolute monsters that lies inside this game, being the gameplay and technical problems.

La primera impresión cuenta...... y mucho. El juego es decepcionante en muchos aspectos. Esta entrega viene después de la MAGNÍFICA campaña y juego que es Wolfenstein New Colossus. Y no cumple con las espectativas para nada. -Diseño de Niveles: Rectos, demasiado lineales, sin sentido, a esto me refiero con que hay cuartos o zonas que no tienen un propósito "real" de porqué estar ahí. Parecen mapas descartados de la anterior entrega. -Personajes: Jugamos como las gemelas de Blazkowicz, si el mismo puñetero que mato a Hitler, pero sin ni una pizca de carisma de esté. Siendo que la personalidad de las gemelas se basa en cringe disfrazado de humor. -Apartado Cooperativo: Sin sentido alguno y puesto a fuerza, si querían meter este apartado a la franquicia, pudieron haberlo hecho de la misma manera que Doom 2016, un apartado gratuito, cómo multijugador y no venderlo como un juego aparte. Sinceramente no vale la pena el juego y creo que mi estado de "Juego reembolsado" lo dice todo. Una gran decepción.
