Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 6.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's doom but with nazis. Love the takedowns with the pipe. Beautiful gun play though small game but super replayable
The New Order!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Short & Prequel to New Order
The Old Blood does feel short, but hey! Anything for my boy Blazkowicz. It was worth playing. There aren't any groundbreaking or unique moments in this game. It feels like a DLC for The New Order, which it probably should have been, but nevertheless. Absolutely worth experiencing if you want to see the prequel to Blazkowicz's arc, but don't expect too much storywise. It's a pretty linear and short experience, and gameplay wise it's the same as The New Order. Overall, it's a fun experience for fans of B.J. Blazkowicz & The New Order. Just keep your expectations in check, you're getting a shorter, more straightforward Wolfenstein adventure rather than a full scaled experience.
Highly Recommended: 6/10

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a shorter, okay-ish prequel to The New Order that doesn’t provide much beyond its decent gunplay
Even though 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order provided a solid, straightforward first-person-shooter campaign, it’s 2015 standalone prequel The Old Blood, which was initially planned to be two separate DLC packs, fails to exceed or even match the same quality. While the game is still worth playing, it’s simply a mediocre and forgettable experience, to the extent that a playthrough should only be considered by players who are either: a) fans of the franchise, or b) already experienced most of the other, more memorable FPS campaigns out there. The main source of enjoyment from The Old Blood stems from its gameplay, although it’s essentially the same as The New Order with the addition of four new weapons including the Bombenschuss (bolt-action rifle), Shockhammer (shotgun) or Kampfpistole (handheld grenade launcher). The most notable addition would be a set of steel pipes, however, which serve as a melee weapon but, more importantly, as an exploration tool, allowing the player to open hatches or climb (very few) select walls. Apart from these new additions to the arsenal of protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz, new enemy types are encountered as well, although they’re unfortunately few in number and not very interesting. Even if the The Old Blood may be lacking huge gameplay additions (or even QoL benefits such as not having to pick up all health-, armour- and ammo-related items manually), the familiar foundations from The New Order still provide satisfying gunplay and enjoyable combat encounters regardless. Taking out Nazi enemies in the game’s alternate-history 1946 setting remains solid fun, with optional stealth approaches to silently clear out enemy commanders serving as a decent counterbalance to the gunfights. While the game doesn’t provide any standout features for its combat – such as Half-Life 2’s gravity gun, DOOM (2016)’s Glory Kill system or Titanfall 2’s movement options – everything from the level design to the enemy types is crafted well enough that it never feels like something is missing. While the short runtime of The Old Blood – only about 4-6h of playtime total for the main story – also makes sure that the combat never even gets a chance at getting old, from a gameplay perspective alone, there’s certainly some fun to be had. On the narrative side however, The Old Blood is a huge let-down. For one, most of the time during the short game is already spend in action-rich combat encounters, thus leaving little room for meaningful storytelling or character development to begin with. Despite this, the game also makes the baffling decision to introduce a major tone-shift later on – what was probably supposed to be the second DLC pack originally – which completely derails an already bland and paper-thin plot. At the same time, The Old Blood also dares to attempt pulling off emotional moments with characters you barely get to know, which – unsurprisingly – falls completely flat. Overall, there’s little of interest here for story enjoyers, with the potential of a The New Order prequel being completely squandered. Concluding, The Old Blood offers solid but familiar gameplay with a bland story, making for a forgettable experience overall. It’s may be enjoyable enough to still be worth a recommendation but at the same time, there are so many even better first-person-shooter campaigns with standout features available to play, that The Old Blood should be considered more of a “play later rather than now” title.
I was one of the people who genuinely enjoyed this game. The story was decent. I 100% it and was pretty happy that it didn't take too long. My biggest criticism is that this is the buggiest Wolfenstein game I've played so far, so it was a shame that I had to restart a lot of events, such as having to redo several challenge maps for the gold medals. I thank my girlfriend for donating this game to me.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a fun little prequel with some performance issues. I noticed it more when there is a turret section so that's strange. If you liked The New Order, then I recommend you pick this game up.
