About
You are one of the three survivors of the slaughter of Castagath. Rescued by Grand Inquisitor Heimlock, you were drafted into the Republic’s Army of the Purifiers at a very young age to be trained in the military academy and become perfect soldiers against the supernatural. You also had the chance to benefit from Heimlock’s occasional advice and training, which led you and your childhood friends, Valeria and Edric, to be called the “Children of Heimlock”.
Recently, the Brotherhood of Dawn has infiltrated the Crimson Keep, a mysterious republican fortress lost among the northern deserts known as the Red wastes. While the purpose of the attack was unclear, the republican Senate voted a retaliation act against all known locations of the Brotherhood.
Led by Grand Inquisitor Heimlock himself, troops are soon deployed on the Coast of wrecks, near the city state of Stormfall, to terminate a camp of Brothers. You are, with your two childhood friends, part of operation Dawnbane, under the supervision of Justicar Maëlys.

Very nice solo experience. Strongly recommended for single players. Similar to Diablo Immortal. A lot of fun.
Wolcen me surpreendeu bastante logo nas primeiras horas.
долго искал по типу механики прокачки POE(не нравится за соревновательный эффект, а хочется спокойного прохождения)
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is an ambitious action RPG that seeks to carve out its own space in the crowded genre dominated by titles like Diablo and Path of Exile. Developed by Wolcen Studio, this game combines dark fantasy aesthetics with fast-paced, visceral combat and a deep character customization system. Upon release, Wolcen attracted attention for its impressive graphics and flexible gameplay mechanics, though it also faced criticism for various technical and balancing issues. Despite some early hurdles, it remains a noteworthy option for players who crave a visually stunning hack-and-slash experience with plenty of room for experimentation. The world of Wolcen is steeped in a grim and intricate lore that frames a tale of chaos and corruption. Players take on the role of a cursed warrior trying to unravel the mysteries surrounding the collapse of the Elden Lords and the rise of dark forces threatening humanity. The narrative is delivered primarily through environmental storytelling, quest interactions, and cinematic cutscenes that enhance immersion without overwhelming the player. While the story may not be revolutionary in its themes, it provides enough context and atmosphere to support the intense action and exploration that define the gameplay. One of Wolcen’s standout features is its character progression system. Unlike many traditional action RPGs that lock players into rigid class structures, Wolcen allows complete freedom in skill and attribute development. The skill tree, known as the Apocalyptic Form system, enables players to mix and match a vast array of abilities from different archetypes, allowing for truly unique builds. This flexibility encourages experimentation, whether players want to focus on melee combat, ranged attacks, summoning minions, or a blend of these styles. The passive skill trees further enhance customization, providing buffs and new mechanics that deepen strategic choices. This system offers a refreshing level of control, making each character feel personalized and powerful in distinct ways. Combat in Wolcen is fluid and dynamic, emphasizing player skill and timing over repetitive button-mashing. The animations are smooth and impactful, with flashy effects that heighten the sense of power as players unleash devastating combos and spells. The game supports a variety of weapons and playstyles, from dual-wielding swords to wielding magical staffs, each with its own feel and tactical considerations. Enemies are diverse, featuring different attack patterns and behaviors that keep encounters engaging. Boss fights are particularly memorable, often requiring players to adapt their strategies and use the environment to their advantage. However, the difficulty can sometimes feel uneven, with certain enemies or areas spiking unexpectedly, which may frustrate less patient players. Visually, Wolcen excels with one of the most impressive graphics engines in the genre. The detailed environments range from eerie crypts to lush forests and ruined cities, all rendered with realistic lighting, shadows, and particle effects. Character models and animations are polished, contributing to a cinematic experience rarely seen in similar games. The sound design complements the visuals effectively, with a dark, orchestral soundtrack that enhances the mood and crisp audio effects that make combat satisfying. This level of polish on the audiovisual front sets Wolcen apart and helps immerse players in its dark, foreboding world. Despite its strengths, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is not without flaws. Upon launch, the game suffered from performance issues, bugs, and occasional crashes that hindered the experience. While many of these problems have been addressed through patches and updates, some technical hiccups still linger, especially on lower-end systems. Additionally, the user interface, though generally clean, can sometimes feel cluttered during intense combat scenarios, making it challenging to keep track of buffs, cooldowns, and health bars. Another common criticism is that the endgame content, while present, could be expanded and diversified to keep players engaged long-term. Multiplayer features add another layer of enjoyment to Wolcen, allowing players to team up with friends or strangers in cooperative mode. This enhances the tactical possibilities as players coordinate roles and abilities to tackle tougher challenges. The social aspect also helps mitigate some of the game’s difficulty spikes, as teamwork can smooth over the learning curve. However, matchmaking can be slow at times, and the lack of dedicated competitive modes means that the multiplayer experience is primarily focused on cooperative play. In conclusion, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is a compelling and visually stunning action RPG that offers deep customization and exhilarating combat. While it has faced technical growing pains and occasional balance issues, its strengths lie in the freedom it gives players to craft their own playstyles and the immersive, dark fantasy world it presents. For those willing to look past some rough edges, Wolcen delivers a rewarding hack-and-slash adventure with plenty of replayability. It is an excellent choice for fans of the genre seeking a fresh experience with modern graphics and a flexible progression system. Rating: 6/10
Jó kis DIABLO Szerűség, de valami azért hiányzott belőle. Viszont szép, jól futott, és azért volt változatosság benne bőven. 10/7.5
