Reviews
Games has been abandoned by the developers just after 1 year. Don't bother buying this game, it sucks!
I don’t usually give bad reviews, but this time I felt like we were scammed. The game’s graphics are so bad that I could only play it for 40 minutes without straining my eyes. This poor quality isn’t due to outdated technology or a low budget. For example, playing older games doesn’t give you this feeling. This game clearly has a problem with an incompetent development team—the graphics are so muddy that you can’t make out anything in the game. You can search the game’s name on YouTube and see for yourself; it’s obvious there, too. Even though I bought it on sale, I’m returning it. I don’t think it’s even worth $7. It’s an unbelievably overpriced game that’s below average. Forget about competing with Monster Hunter, it can’t even come close in its current state.
Game crashed after the tutorial and now crashes every time I try to hit continue. What trash.
确实优化差,确实像怪猎,确实做出了特色,确实好玩
Great variation of monster hunter, I seem to have been lucky to avoid all the technical difficulties.
I really wanted to give a positive review, but i just can't. The whole game is a MH clone (shocking, right?) , wich in itself is not a bad idea, i like MH, i like KOEI TECMO games in general... but this one... is ... Let's start with the perfomance! -1/10, stutters, crashes, overall the graphic does not excuse this usage of VRAM , most of the texture are literally out of a ps2 game and i barely can look at the sky without going 20 fps. The game loop, again, it's a MH clone (oh no!), and it works, unless... you make me fight a giant boar, that's it, a giant boar, half animal half plant, wich is the theme of the whole game, you'll fight a giant chicken and a giant rat too, both half animal and half plant... cool? a squirrel... a crone... that's it, they are the animal the take inspiration from with stuff added on their body, nothing more, nothing less. The weapons, too few, and the whole upgrading tree is unimpressive. The story is bland, already seen, unmemorable, characters are tokens rather than actual personalities, it's a MH clone ( yes, even the story ). The building mechanic is cool, but half baked, a shame, but it wouldn't save the game anyway, I couldn't bring myself to finish it, i tried solo, i tried coop, but i can't get past of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ looking this is. I blame nintendo and Electronic Arts, this could have been a real challenger to MH, but when the fight started it flipped and broke it's neck on them preliminary publishing contracts it got. An unfinished game that will forever be a missed opportunity, it had everything cool, but they didn't bake a single thing right, and shipped it without any regard to the player.
this is what i should have played before getting into MH wilds. maybe the character creator isn't the best and micromanaging the karakuri is too much for my adhd, but the kemono feel much more fulfilling to hunt atm. i reaaally hope this gets a second installment at some point.
It's genuinely SO fun but a lot of people struggle with crashes and performance issues. I have some stutter on mine but overall it runs ok
I thought that because my pc was so much over the recommended specs I wouldn't have any issues running the game especially because I have been running a few other games in the same engine without problems like Nioh 3 and DW origins but they really did mess up optimization of this game badly I got on and played for like 15 minutes the game looked terribly ugly, had 1 crash while changing graphics settings and several huge stutters before even getting to the more open parts of the world or the big monsters so I refunded this asap especially because their is no hope of fixes coming for this game. Trust the reviews do not buy this game.
It's sad this did not get some better optimization . I've enjoyed the game allot even with it being jittery sometimes and weird multiplayer optimization. The game is quite good if you can get over the optimization. Graphics - 7.5/10 Audio - 6.5/10 Combat - 8/10 Optimization - 7/10
