Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 10 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One-line review: I wish I'd gotten to play this game when I was in grade school a few decades ago, but the world just wasn't there yet. I guess whether you'll like this game or not depends on what you're looking for in your edutainment and what your current experience level with the content is. You won't be doing any text coding or math that you can't do in your head. Instead you will learn general concepts and get a history lesson about the development of machine learning tools. If you have a solid math and/or programming background then you might find yourself frustrated at times (why can't I just optimize this module's code myself it's so slow AHHHHH) but if that's the case then I don't think you're the intended audience here. If you're really interested in ML but have no idea where to start then I think this is a better place than most. At worst you're out 13 bucks and got nothing out of it, which is better than spending 50-5000 bucks on "real" education and getting nothing out of it.

It's a fairly simple optimization-style puzzle game. True to promises, it actually bears very little resemblance to coding, and is more similar to Zachtronics titles or Nandgame—actually, if you're here and reading this review and you haven't played Nandgame yet, go do that. It's free and online and it's great. But this is a REALLy simple puzzle game, with grating and overweening aesthetics: think last generation's corporate schlock fed through Midjourney. The tone is enthusiastic about modern LLMs to a nauseating degree, and gets several basic facts of history wrong in order to make modern LLMs seem better by comparison. For example, at one point the game details the creation of the "first chatbot" ELIZA, and describes it as "working horribly". In truth, it was effective to the point of disturbing its creator, who saw users become emotionally attached, experiencing "powerful delusional thinking". The minimization doesn't just extend to ELIZA, the "working horribly" line gets reused to describe expert systems, or really any form of machine learning prior to modern LLMs and genAI. TL;DR: go play NandGame instead.
This game will not teach you how to program, and it will definitely not teach you how to program well. Instead you just end up solving a bunch of math puzzles which are all of the form "how do you get five red balls in the 3rd bucket with no more than two balls of the wrong colour using only the operators B, C and F". If you enjoy those kinds of juggling puzzles you will love this game, but if you actually want to learn about programming please look elsewhere.
What an amazing game. This is my first programming/educational game ever. It's challenging but in a good way. I spent an hour in the tutorial while my brain was trying to solve them. Its got me hooked.
Got this for my kid as a learning tool, working through it together. We really enjoy the gameplay (the way it has been organised and how it handles) and the very clean, uncluttered visual style - nicely done! The concept (the overall story) and the character design are also cute and fun. Disappointed, however, with the choice to use slang and terrible spelling/punctuation in the 'client communications' - it's sloppy and unprofessional for (even pretend) business communications, and slows things down a lot as I explain to my poor kid what all the nonsense is supposed to mean. I get that it was meant to be funny and realistic (how people write in forums), but I don't see that as something positive to perpetuate; especially for such a nice learning tool, pandering to bad habits was a bit of a let-down for us. Despite that, I would still recommend this overall.
