Where's My Egg is a lovely example of great Sokoban design. There's a lot here that most players will be familiar with: box pushing, lasers, switches, and teleportation to name a few. But that's not to say there isn't innovation as well. In particular, the final chapter's mechanic, which is a real doozy that I won't spoil here, took me hours to wrap my brain around. There's 62 levels total. My 20 hours non-idle playtime says everything you need to know about difficulty. It gets hard. There is especially significant challenge towards the end of the game. I solved a few of the final levels when I was outside on a walk. Anytime I can solve a difficult puzzle while away from a game, that game gets my gold star of approval for quality puzzle design. Where's My Egg is never difficult due to overly complicated or fiddly arrangements. It's a fair, highly deductible game through and through. Perhaps the last couple levels push the boundary of reasonable player expectations a bit more than necessary, but my trouble with those levels was certainly due in part to personal difficulty fully internalizing the final chapter's new mechanic. Where's My Egg is one of 2026's first standout puzzle games. An easy recommendation for puzzle fans looking for a spicy and thoughtful challenge.
If you love sokoban style puzzle games like A Monster's Expedition, Isles of Sea and Sky, and Baba Is You, this is a must play. Chill music, very clever solutions, charming pixel art style, and lots of cool eggs to collect as trophies for your hard work. Don't sleep on this game, especially at such a cheap price!
Exquisite and graceful sokoban game!Mechanics is simple but the level is interesting and challenging. Great.
Loved the combination of slightly cursed mechanics and deep interactions. Great puzzle design, and absolutely a steal for the price.
I hate swap blocks! Very fun puzzle game though
