To start off this game's story is incomplete, the sequel is not on Steam but there are two other games you can get from another platform. I'm quite surprised this is not published under GameHouse although it is a GameHouse series. Primrose Lake is a mystery Time-Management game, you play with multiple characters but the main story is about two girls, Jessica and Jennifer. One day Jessica was driving down and noticed a girl in a bridal outfit standing by the road, she asked to be picked up and drove anywhere, clearly bailing on her husband-to-be. The girl is named Jennifer and she is a split image of Jessica. Surprisingly both of them share the same family name, Carlyle. They arrived at Primrose Lake, to Jessica's Cafe where you'll start playing and serving people, unknown to Jenny everyone in this place has a secret, some of them are even dark. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2964201940 The gameplay is like any time management from Gamehouse, you stock items, serve people and try to achieve an extra mission in each level. You also collect gems to renovate a garden. The nice addition is the family tree, the more you learn about the village, the more people will show up in the family tree. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2964203830 The new addition to the game is the investigation levels, it is not counted among the 60 main levels, but they are an extra step to learn more about what is going on. Cons: -Incomplete story. -Needs custom mouse cursor (Sometimes you can't see the default small system cursor when the stage is busy) -No steam cloud. The suspense of this game is high, every time you finish a level the story becomes darker and makes you think of different outcomes, but what I suspected it didn't happen. As what I said the story is not done yet, hopefully, they'll bring the second and third games to Steam one day. The story is very good, but it seems that there will be a sequel since the story doesn't give much closure. I hope they will make a sequel, because I loved playing this game and want to know the ending to this mystery game. I really love that you don't have tasks in which you have to draw a circle with your mouse in this game. Most of the "Gamehouse" games have that. For the achievements, you have to watch every scene and get every diamond on all the levels. This means that you'll have to do an additional task and search for the raccoon on each level. The achievements for watching all the mystery locations cutscenes seem to be a bit bugged, but rewatching a mystery scene after you've seen them all seems enough to trigger it. This game is a lot of fun and let's hope that the developers will make the sequel and put it on Steam, including Steam achievements!

An amazing game. Deep and mysterious storyline, fresh and smooth gameplay and a lot of achievements. Can't wait for a sequel!

What a waste of time and money!! This is really one of the worst games ever made, it's boring af!! The story just drags out and out, it never gets to a point till literally at the end and believe me it's disappointing... What annoys me the most about the game is the double clicking when the item just can't get picked up, so you lose time and money specially playing on hard mode. The game is really buggy as well, spelling errors, repeating a level and then you have to quit because you don't get the full order combo and you can't complete the level at all. Those shoes that looks the same from the back as it's on the front, really guys? Ridiculous!! The characters expressions are the same in every conversation, scratching their heads the whole time, but hey at least they have 5 fingers (shrug). I repeat a total WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!

The mini-games are fun, but the story is far too convoluted to enjoy. And takes soooooooo long to resolve. Wouldn't recommend for the price.

reminds me of diner dash + a story line. The story parts are a bit slow. I wish they showed more than one sentence at a time.

That game was beautiful, I loved the story, the music, the characters, the graphic design. And the gameplay was good old gamehouse manner (but with a satisfying smooth way of moving)

A very cool game with a unique way of telling the story. The characters are pretty well done and he story is also pretty cool (even though its obvi to seperate Jess and Jenny). The Historical Society lvls are a bit boring but everything else is pretty nice. Im really looking forward what will happen in the sequel. I can really recommend it.
