Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Amazing game, amazing music. I am having a blast.
Mechanicus is a great grid-based Tactics. The dialog is very well written. Great Sound track too!
Warhammer 40k: Mechanicus is a slick turn-based tactics game with some of the best sound design in years — especially for this genre. It takes that XCOM-style formula and adds an extra layer of complexity that makes every turn feel more deliberate. You’re not just moving and shooting — you’re juggling action points that make each decision feel weighty, always at the cost of some other opportunity. You can break up your actions however you want, as long as you’ve got the resources to pull it off. It’s a smart take on turn-based design that feels like a nod to when strategy games were a bit more crunchy and technical. That said, this isn’t Jagged Alliance or old-school X-COM — it’s cleaner, faster, and much more streamlined. Before you ever get to see action though, you have to embark on a mission, which plays out like an abstract, branching dungeon crawl. You send your team down different paths, make quick story decisions, and eventually hit a big final fight. Take longer routes and you’ll pick up more resources and rewards, but the longer you take, the stronger the enemies get once combat kicks in. That said, the magic does start to fade over time. Progression moves at a crawl, and like XCOM, the slow trickle of upgrades makes long-term planning non-existent. Missions start to blur together too — each one feels like a slight remix of the last. There’s not much evolution in level design, enemies, or available tools. The core gameplay is still great, but it loses that spark — that feeling of pulling off big moves and watching the whole match shift in response. The slow drip-feed of upgrades keeps things predictable and steady, but it also flattens out those dramatic payoffs that strategy games often thrive on. Even so, few games in this space are made with this much care and polish. Mechanicus doesn’t reinvent the genre, but it nails what it sets out to do. Recommended.

This game nails the 40k aesthetic and atmosphere perfectly, and features the single best intro cutscene I have ever seen, by far. Not only that, but the gameplay is actually fun! Unfortunately, it is criminally easy, with a million ways to stumble into creating an utterly broken and overpowered squad of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that will annihilate everything with ease.
GREAT game
Fun
Доволі цікава гра з близькими механіками до x com, лору не багато, але дух вх40000 витриманий добре.
Become a bit boring at the end but it's a good game in WH40k universe.
It's a fun strategy rpg with randomly generated combat maps. The builds for each tech priest allows for a lot of variety, which makes me wish there was more variety among the enemy NPCs. Simply put, this game is way too easy after you get about 5-6 cogs and maybe 4 tech priests. Your power snowballs with each victory while the enemy simply can't keep up, this leads to late game missions feeling like a chore since nothing poses a true threat. I hope the sequel has a more engaging latter half than this game. Ultimately, if you enjoy 40K or just strategy games in general, then this game is a safe buy.
