Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun tactics game. Perfect accuracy with damage ranges and armor, break line of sight, block it with disposable minions, or taunt. The core combat gimmick is a shared energy pool used for weapons, abilities, movement, summoning minions, and taking extra move actions. Energy comes from map features, secured enemy kills, and some gear. On the campaign side, several mission chains for you to pick between, and a global timer for how quickly/quietly you sweep through them. Pick missions based on the gear unlocks (partially randomized) to develop your squad. The main gameplay nitpick is the economy. You have one currency with 3 uses. Levelling your techpriests, healing your techpriests, and bringing more advanced minions. Healing is based on end of mission health, damage isn't real if you heal it off, but if you take a hit right at the end, it'll cost you. Similarly, spending on minions is partially (never fully) refunded based on end of mission health. Are you really bringing skitarii when you could have free servitor meatshields? The DLC adds a side mission chain with new enemies and no impact on the global timer. Beware, the "easy" mission is not easy. It also adds a new skill tree, and a modest selection of new gear

Checked it out on the recommendation of Mandalore Gaming. The music is great, the sound is great, the art is great, and the gameplay is fun (although I'm only a few hours in at time of writing). I got it on sale and don't regret my purchase at all. I'm new to the 40k universe but with the abundance of lore videos on youtube I'm not out of my depth. Like, it's nice that I at least had the background knowledge of who the Mechanicus are and their goals and whatnot, but it's not like I needed to read any of the novels in order to understand anything that's happened so far. I'll be recommending this to my friends who like tactics games that might be interested in the setting.
Fun game for someone who doesn't know much about Warhammer.
I picked this up as my first strategy game since around 2005, so I was honestly expecting to feel a bit lost. Turns out it was surprisingly smooth to get into. It does look intimidating at first, but once you play a couple of missions, everything clicks nicely. The gameplay is genuinely engaging : resource management has just enough depth to encourage experimenting with a few synergies. My usual completionist instinct kicks in, and weirdly, that could’ve made the experience less fun if I had tried to unlock everything on my first run. In a way, not finishing everything right away actually keeps me motivated to come back for more. It doesn't feels possible without customizing otpions anyway, but I'm happy with that. The music is nowhere near my usual style, yet I still found myself letting the soundtrack run because it's just that good. Visually, the game is really fine, but the lighting and steam effects cleverly hide some rough edges while creating a really atmospheric vibe, especially when you zoom out to the default level. It’s a bit of a shame that the FOV feels too tight when you zoom all the way in, but it’s a minor inconvenience overall. The dialogues and quests are quite good too and genuinely interesting for 40K lore-beginners, to the point of giving me ideas for tabletop RPG sessions (whether in the 40K universe or not). In short: I definitely recommend it. It plays well, missions are short enough to fit into small sessions, and the overall atmosphere is surprisingly warm and welcoming for a strategy title.
This game has potential but unfortunately made by lazy game designers the tutorial is very weak, it dose not teach you enough! very poor at explaining the game ( though that could be down to me). Over the last decade maybe even more, I have also discovered that youtubers, are both a hindrance and a positive, to the gaming community. They try to help us and let us know how it should be done but because to most these, people this is at least a part time job! It makes it way harder for the person who has 12 or less hours a week to put into a game. If Steam are doing it on a deal and you like 40k do try it but only on a very good deal!
For the machine is immortal.
