Prices

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

10/10 un gran juego de estrategia, yo no suelo tener mas de 2 partidas en los videojuegos pero este me tiene enganchado con su gran rejugabilidad
I really enjoyed this X-Com like game. Good things: - Really cool tun based combat system, with a lot of personalization for your units - Short missions, great prices on most of them - Evolution of your troops are cool, feling you a bit stronger on each combat - Music is cool, but repetitive Bad things: - Visuals are meh... and your main troops are almost the same (not quicky identifiables) - Really easy on Normal mode once you passed the half of the game (you are super-cheated) - The final boss I killed him on a single turn - Dungeons are based on rooms with 3 different choices (1 usually good, 2 usually bad), really difficult to know which is the good one, so eventually you will finish saving game, doing a choice, oh it's a bad one, reload the game and try again (who is not fun). I bought it around 2€, if you like x-com like games this one is a cool one.

A bunch of technophile kids break into a old people's home, steal their stuff, shout nonsense in Binary, blast music really loudly and poke at them with mechanical tentacles. Would and will play again.
Wokehammer
After finishing Rogue trader I was craving for some more Warhammer 40k games. Mechanicus seemed like the perfect choice. Well I cannot say that I had the same level of experience as in Rogue trader but still it was an OK experience. I played on the normal difficulty level. Pros: - Intro cinematic. Well, I have seen this intro long before I started playing this game. It is very well done and it sticks into your memory. - Interesting combat system. I can say that it is quite unique and nicely done. Not really that deep but good enough. - "Story". Story is represented as a conversation between characters before missions. I liked those interactions. You can get familiar with characters and it gives a quite good atmosphere. - Soundtrack. Well, it is quite nice. I might listen to it sometimes. Cons: - Difficulty drop. Well at the beginning the game was quite hard but after some time if you level up your tech priests correctly you really can break the game. Some items are also too op in my opinion making the game even easier. At the end of the game I was untouchable and could finish any battle map in the first turn. - Choices on the map. During the exploration you encounter places where you can select one of 3 options. There is almost no telling what each option is doing. Sometimes NPCs can lead you to the correct option (no negative penalties for player) but not always. It was quite frustrating and it seems that only one way to know what consequences are is to save scum. Much better option would be to show what each option is doing and then it is up to you to decide what you need or which punishment is acceptable for you. - Quite tedious gameplay loop. Yeah for the first half of the game I was digging into the core gameplay loop but later it was starting to get boring because everything is the same. The only novelty you receive are sometimes new battle maps. - Missing access to stats. You got poisoned or made your enemy on fire and there is no way to tell but only to look at the model of the character. I want to check how far I or the enemy can go but it is not possible. I would like to have some panel for each unit where I can check current buffs, my moment points etc. Like most things in this game, you have to guess. - Hidden campaign stats. When I finished the game I had quite a lot of items, units still not unlocked. I assume that it might be because I tried to clear maps as fast as possible without waking up necrons etc. It seems that in order to get all items/upgrades you have to try to cover all places on the map which is counter intuitive due to necron waking up mechanics. It seems that there are two endings in this game based on decisions you made. It is nowhere shown or listed to which ending you are heading to. In general, not such a bad game. I had some fun playing this but nothing was exceptional, I would even say that it felt like some mobile game. I can only recommend it to fans of Warhammer 40k and only when it is on sale. There is a second Mechanicus game in development so I do hope that they will improve on at least some of the cons that I have described. Praise the omnissiah.
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is a strong, accessible introduction to turn-based tactics with clear systems, satisfying customization, and an interesting narrative hook. Combat is tight and deterministic, making every decision matter. The major drawback is the near absence of voice acting, which forces players through long stretches of text that can undercut the otherwise compelling story. Overall, a smart and enjoyable tactics game that falls short of greatness due to presentation choices.
amazing music
