This game is pure unbalanced frustration with no guide and ambiguous mechanics. Save your money and sanity,
It only comes with like five factions and any extra costs around 17 euro. Which is almost half the cost of the base game. Including dlc that add more units to each faction. The monitization would be bad even if the game was free. Also it features ai generated content in both main menues and i believe the splash art for your steam library. I love warhammer but come the ♥♥♥♥ on
帝国卫队前期谁都打不过,后期谁都打不过
I have 131.4 hours at the time of me writing this, I started the war I go into detail below about at 30 hours (give or take a few) I downloaded the Heroes of Legend mod off of the workshop... oh boy sit down, grab a cuppa, 'cause this is a doozy! I played a few games and won as; Tau, Necrons, Space Marines and the 'Nids! WONDERFUL! This filled all of about 30 hours in total... then I started a game with the Orks. The enemy teams consisted of the Space Marines, Chaos Marines and the 'Nids. The 'Nids died within the first 15 turns and I was on my way to the Space Marines. The Space Marines put up a valiant fight and at many turns, I found myself on the back foot. So ensues a war of attrition. SUDDENLY the final city of the Space Marines falls and I receive a notification that the Space Marines have defeated and they are out of the picture. Enter the Chaos Marines! By this point we are coming up to 60 odd turns deep and both sides have established armies and cities sprawling across the map. The Chaos and I (Orks) had formed a front line stretching in a diagonal from the South West to the North East of the entire map. Hundreds of units died. Hundreds of units on either side sent into the meat grinder. The front swayed back and forth for about 50 odd turns. Both sides locked deep in a war of attrition. Neither giving an each to the other! I slowly filled the hexes on my side of the map with every manner of Ork unit I could create. They were now sending Helldrakes, Hellfiends, MOFUGGIN' ABBADON!!! and greater brass scorpions, as well as a plethora of various tanks and deathwings! I have just won this war (25/06/2026 at 4:08am)... Istarted when my son went to bed at roughly 7pm May the 9th I have been figthing for over a month! OVER A MONTH! Of pure unadulterated war! This is 40K! This is warhammer... 10/10 will WAAAAGH! again!... for another 47 days!
vale a pena só pra passar o tempo ouvindo alguma musica fica bom, uma dica: compre se estiver na promoção
I wish there was a 'mixed' recomendation option... Base game has a lot of content on its own, but unfortunatelly A LOT of it is locked behind so many DLC packs its crazy :C I will have to go with a positive review because I still had fun with the game despite that :D
While I do generally recommend this title, whether you are a 40k veteran or someone wanting to finally get into the franchise, I have to give a MASSIVE warning ahead of time. ONLY buy this game when it's on sale, and here's why. Gladius by itself typically goes on hefty sale pretty often, but there's an issue with this. The base game comes with 4 factions: Daddy GW's favourite the Space Marines, Astra Militarum, Necrons and Orks. Every other faction is DLC, and we currently have 11 as a whole as of this review: 4 base and 7 DLC. So what's the issue? New factions/races being DLC is the norm for a lot of games like this. Outside of the Race Packs, there is an excessive amount of Unit Packs. Think things like the Deathmark or Immortals come with the Necrons base? Lol no, buy our DLCs if you want some of the most basic units that you'd think would have been there by default. Hell, the Astra Militarum didn't even have the damn Chimera until the Assault Pack in 2020, one of their staple vehicles alongside the Sentinel, Basilisk and Leman Russ. (The game came out in 2018, mind you.) Regardless of if you enjoy the 4 base factions or one of the DLC ones, just know that a LOT of units are going to be missing until you pay them for it. As of this review, there is a total of 11 Unit Packs, with one of them being bigger than normal in the form of the Ultima Founding DLC, because surprise surprise Space Marines got a massive unit DLC and nobody else has one because ♥♥♥♥ you in particular if you don't suckle at the pulsating teat of the Adeptus Astartes.
Дорого в стим, тяжело в учении, 30 фпс в бою
дешевая копия цивилизации со слабой графикой и сверх скучным геймплеем, даже за бесплатно оно того не стоит
Can't recommend the game due to DLC pricing policy. They took worst from Paradox and Sega Total War series games DLC practice without providing Paradox or Sega quality. Base game is cheap, I either purchased it on discounts or received for free. Can't remember now. I ran introduction and, oh boy... By screenshots I expected it to be Panzer/ Fantasy General game series. But it turned out to be just another Civ like game (reminded Alpha Centauri), or better say Warlock / Endless Legends kind of games. It has some tactical part, but still not Fantasy General. Resources are abundant, game strategy is "kill'em all / capture all flags". They have heroes, somewhat technichal tree, etc. I played intro for around 5 hours. Basically for 2 reasons - didn't know some mechanics (and oh boy, their tutorial is messy and hints are not actually helping) and I wanted to try every possible aspect of the game at least for Marines. From positive side, game do have tactical part and your army mix influence the game. But, I just had 3 heroes, basic marines, heavy troops and tanks and that solved everything. And I was not even past Tech level 4. I don't know what game should look like for me to reach Tech level 9. Now I look at DLC.. and they are priced at 56x times of the price I paid for original game . I am just not there. Uou put 90% on original game on every sale event, but your DLCs are at most 10% sale. Considering this is 2018 year hame, that sounds like a joke to me.
