The new reference in RTS at its best! The Wargame series returns to duty, larger, richer and more spectacular than ever before. In Wargame Red Dragon, you are engaged in a large-scale conflict where Western forces clash against the Communist bloc.

Reviews
这个游戏太难了,上手门槛不适合我这种傻逼,但是还是给好评了,因为很高级
A timeless classic already. The campaigns, while borrowed from Airland Battle's adjoining sectors type (the "Army general" free movement strategic layer came later with WARNO amd Steel Division 2), are in my opinion a gem of immersion and engagement. A great feature like making the "strategic map" situation determine the ownership of the entry points and directions into the tactical map makes for ever exciting and diverse battles even in the same map from the pool. You can spawn surrounded, or surround and encircle the enemy, or force your way inch by inch. This is the single thing I miss the most in Warno, where on the contrary all maps are structured as more or less a meeting engagement... and the naval battles too: simplistics though they were, the amphibious assaults were much fun.

Missile ranges, Armour thickness and radar sensitivity not accurate. Needs revision. Community bad. 8/10 would recommend
I didn't move to WARNO. I hope that EUGEN continues to support Wargame. If they added a post cold-war update (i.e. gulf war, yugoslav war, maybe 2nd Iraq war) - but without adding the "insurgent" materiel that typifies modern games - if they did this, I'm sure tens of thousands would come back. People still play Wargame Red Dragon and it is more than a decade old!
