Oh yes. Oh yes. This game is very intuitive (for me, that is) and great fun for strategists, as even if the odds are heavily stacked against you, you can win. Say, play Netherlands and conquer German cities kind of bad odds, but you STILL SOMEHOW have a chance to win. That's what I like about this game: The simplicity. Yet it has a depth. Any person who needs some chill on a Friday night and likes a good war game that isn't as complicated as HOI4 (although that game is still extremely fun and I have about 550 hrs in HOI4) - War, The Game is an incredible alternative. I love it. Although there are some downsides - let me list the most annoying ones (maybe that'll be different in your game, but it's what I experience that I wish did[n't] exist): 1. The start of the game. It might be for you - and that also happened to me, but I fixed it with quite some messing around (although I can't remember how anymore) - crashing every time in the intro screen or just not opening at all. This would probably be the second of the two main reasons why you wouldn't buy this game (the first one being you just generally don't like war games). 2. The unit selection system takes a bit of getting used to, as you can't properly select around half of the units in a stack - or any amount for that matter - say, you have a stack of 30 infantry divisions. You want to move 10 elsewhere. You would probably have to painstakingly click ten times on each unit and order to move them away. Slight inconvenience, but you can get used to it. 3. The constant tips showing up in game that tell you e.g. how cities work. It's nice the first 2 times - but then it just gets annoying. Sometimes the tips show up and interrupt the nice flow of the game. Everything else is probably just preference and opinion - so go and see if this game is for you, and don't say I didn't warn you about the crashing at the start of the game - mhm? ;) Have fun, Generals!
