There is one heck of al learning curve with this game. It is very complex. However, it has a excellent tutorial and the many examples are fun to play. There is a manual, but it is quite long and I found it of limited aid, at least as I'm learning the game through tutorials. I'm still going through the tutorials.

If you like to replay naval battles, it seems like one of the best. Graphics and game play are sufficient to get you into the mood and stick with it. A lot of strategy, but you don't have to nurse every single ship and unit.

great game just wish there were more plane options or even just random friendly merchants like british

Completely unbalanced mess with a constantly cheating AI. AI knows where all your ships are at any time. AI knows where all your torpedoes are at any time. AI fighter planes can deal with 3 or 4 player´s fighter planes. AI can spawn 3 times as many planes than it´s airbases allow. AI can disappear with a slow convoy without a single trace from a position surrounded by player´s ships.
