Launched the game. Made some popcorn. Watched the intro scene. Already got my money's worth.

it runs fairly well, just had to lower all my graphic settings despite my PC being decent due to the games age and im guessing other issues with it being ported.

best lego game of all time. i have serious beef with the third one for not having open world like this game.

I have now finished the first three Lego Batman games, three is my favourite, closely followed by two. The move to voiced characters really made a difference for me. As everyone else has said, if you’ve played a Lego game, you’ve played this one. The formula is the same, if you’re not interested in that then this game won’t change that for you. I’ve been playing the Lego Batman games for the story, which are actually quite good. They are suitable for children and also enjoyable for adults as the writing is decent and the humour is spot on. For this one, the running gag of Batman being jealous of Superman being super nice and awesome at everything is handled well. All the voice actors do a great job. The music and other audio sounds are also great and suit whatever character you’re playing as and also suit the moment that you’re in. The game is not difficult, it’s not supposed to be. I only play them for the story, I don’t go collecting every little thing in the game. After completing the main story I have only completed 19% of the game apparently. Took me about nine hours to complete the main story. The graphics are fantastic for its time, the effects and texture work are excellent. The Lego world is really brought to life. The only technical issue I seemed to notice was that every now and then there seem to be some sort of frame pacing issue where the frame rate was not dropping however the animations appeared to be slowed. This could possibly just be because of a V sync issue as the game I believe was originally intended to run at 30 frames a second. I was running it with V sync enabled at 60hz. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was noticeable. This issue is not present on the Wii U version (I’ve played it on that too). If you enjoy the Lego games and especially the Batman ones, you won’t be disappointed with this one. If not, this one won’t change that for you.

Best lego batman game i've played so far. I want to fully complete this game but its looking rough. Overall great game, best in the lego batman trilogy.

just found out today that legos are like a real thing... like you can play with them in real life. so cool that they saw these games and decided to make toys out of them.

Lego Batman 2, pessoalmente, nunca foi um dos meus favoritos, ele é divertido pra um multiplayer, as fases são bem elaboradas e criativas, o mundo aberto é bem legal de se explorar a principio, fazer os mini games dele e alguns puzzles, pegar alguns vilões lutando contra eles ao invés de simples side quests é bem divertido. Porém, qualquer coisa a longo prazo deste jogo, é meio chato, ou cansativo, muito repetitivo, os personagens extras, mesmos os principais, não tem muita relevância e não são muito divertidos, não parecem ter importância fora a porcentagem, consigo lembrar de 4 ou 5 que realmente eram alternativas na hora de fazer algo no mundo aberto ou no free play. Completar 100% do jogo é um saco, fora que as recompensas são completamente ignoráveis, você anda e anda pelo mapa, destrói uma parede dourada e pega o bloco, isso quando a câmera não te atrapalha durante minutos até virarem para onde você quer de fato (fora que tem veículos no jogo, mas também são completamente irrelevantes, em quase todos os aspectos) (também, por algum motivo não tem a DLC do jogo na Steam). Basicamente, o jogo é bom, é divertido, ele tem seu charme pra jogar a história e um pouco do mundo aberto, jogar atoa na tela dividida, mas não vai muito além disso, falta vida no jogo pós história (considerando que foi um dos primeiros jogos com mundo aberto, e o primeiro que era uma cidade inteira, fora que também introduziu a dublagem, é justo ser como é, mas não envelheceu muito bem, foi SUPER importante para os jogos LEGO, mas bah tlgd? Um mártir digno) daria um 8 fortissimo.
