Apparently the AI has the newfound ability to use the force and hold your aircraft in place over their fleet and shoot them down 1 by 1

The game is very good and now with the lastest update has become a lot more complete. Very easy to run, very realistic, hard in every way that matters. The only thing the game lack is more campaigns outside of just guadalcanal. There are a lot of mod for campaigns, fair, but i want the devs to put out a few newer campaigns too. I recommend this game, worth every buck, play it.

uhhh... it's ok i guess. not nearly as good as cold waters. you need to baby the controls way more than in cold waters in order to get anything done. the spacing of ships in formation is annoyingly tight. the goofiest quirk of this game i've noticed so far is that submarines are literally only useful because if you have one in a task force, enemy submarines start encounters right next to yours, miles away from your surface ships, instead of in the ideal torpedoing position they'd normally get for free. other than that it's pretty hard to justify spending your points on them.
Very good for reenacting Naval Battles. I wish there was more ships, especially carriers like Hiryu and Taiho. Unfortunately when selecting a ship class, the next ship of the class is identical to it. So, a Zuikaku is the same as a Shokaku when in real life they had differences. I appreciate the graphics because they aren't super realistic which is much better for a simulation. It's simple and fun.
This is the best Naval combat sim I've played in a log time, setting up formations and battle lines with all sorts of diffrnt ships is great, I also recommend the tokyo mod that adds soo much stuff.
This game is such a piece of ♥♥♥♥
