Wagotabi: A Japanese Journey

Me gustó bastante el juego, aclaro que aún no lo termino, tiene bonito arte, diálogos entretenidos y pone bien a prueba los conocimientos que vas adquiriendo, sin embargo, no podría recomendar esto a alguien que empiece desde cero en el japonés, necesitas cierta base, yo estudié previamente N5 y al empezar a jugar me sentí cómodo, luego de unas horas la dificultad subió mucho, mezcla kanjis de n4 o n4 en horas muy prematuras del juego, pero a su vez siento que si te dedicas a jugarlo muy constantemente y a estudiar en base al juego y las lecciones no deberías tener mucho problema.

Дуже крута гра для вивчення японської мови, якщо підручники не для вас і у вас є якась база ( так я вважаю, що починати грати у гру потрібно вже з якоюсь базою алфавіту і тд.). Відкрив її для себе на 8 місяці свого навчання. Рекомендую всім

Schon nach den ersten 30 Minuten bin ich absolut überzeugt. Der Inhalt ist für absolute Anfänger vielleicht ein bisschen viel, aber mit ganz wenig Grundkenntnissen absolut perfekt. Weder zu einfach, dass man genervt ist und keine Lust mehr hat, noch zu schwer dass man aufgibt weil man das Gefühl hat dass man nichts versteht. Danke für dieses tolle Spiel!

You get パワハラ'd not even one hour into the game, it's incredible work. Jokes aside, this game rekindled my learning of Japanese, helping me finally make the step from Hiragana-Katakana stagnation to taking on the ever-intimidating Kanji. It does a great job of steadily introducing new elements (grammar, kanji, useful phrases etc.), letting you settle into it, and testing you before repeating. Almost all of the dialogue and UI elements are in Japanese (even the hints for when you get stuck are in Japanese), and it's a fantastic execution of immersion learning. To those who are thinking about buying the game I highly suggest learning and mastering at least Hiragana prior to playing, as it's the foundation of the very language itself, so knowing it well beforehand will make for a much smoother ride. Without even noticing, the game had both taught me over 100 kanji, and all the different particles started falling into place almost like on their own. Now I'm continuing study on my own (=watching anime and understanding it!) with Anki and Yomitan. This is a fantastic stepping stone for Japanese beginners! このゲームはすばらしいですよ！デベロッパーのみなさん、本当にありがとうございます。

Jogo relaxante demais e você aprende uma quantidade saudável e de maneira divertida palavras e frases em japonês. É excelente para quem não conhece nada e bom para quem conhece praticar.

So far as I have tried this learning game, I can tell that it looks super fun and entertaining. I really hope that it remains even in a later phase of the game. However,I would like to point out some things. In my opinion, this learning game is suitable for players/learners who already know or learned hiragana with katakana. Even though there are mini games and tests that allows you to learn alphabet. So it's much more easier to read sentences in Japanese language during the game. Also, it would be cool if you added the ability to write kanji and etc. into tests or mini game. Not just to display for safe learning and etc. I would like to suggest also making tasks/ tests with an ability to skip or write up the said text when it comes to listening tasks, so gameplay doesn't get disrupted and unpleasing. Because some people, who have hearing disabilities, might have some difficulties to understand what was said during task and write it up in the task.

At the start, I didn't plan to learn Japanese at all, though I was curious to learn a bit for my future trip to Japan when I discovered this game on Steam. Finally, it got me interested enough so that I still continue to advance in the game, and I even started to look into learning more outside the game. It helped me to start Japanese in a painless way and to get more motivation to learn more outside the game. I would not be able to advance as much and keep the motivation with just a book. I strongly recommend this game for beginners.
