A nice little war game that captures some of the logistics of the Viet-Nam War rather well. A thumbs up from me.
Very good concept and addictive as well.
This is less a wargame and more of a logistics game where you spend most of the time resupplying the troops. About 50% of your moves is doing just that...every turn. It gets old fast. Not a bad game but I think mechanically flawed in a very big way. It's cheap so try it but....you were warned.
Great game with strategy and logistics being very important
This is a big-boy grown up version of "Advance Wars". The interface is a bit annoying because a left click can accidentally send your helicopter away to run out of fuel at the end of the turn, when you meant to leave it in the supply base and click a different unit altogether. But once you get past that, and abandon your ideas about creating "green zones" and take on board the idea that threats appear behind you all the time, it can be a fun wee game. I recommend you learn on "Custom" easiest difficulty, then play 20 games in "Normal" difficulty to obtain the crucial Airstrikes upgrade you get with experience. Then you will be ready to attempt "Veteren" level difficulty, which is quite brutal.
Fun, quick and easy to play counter insurgency game. Has expansion, combat, supply, all of that comes together to make you feel like a General in Vietnam trying to stop a VC or NVA invasion/Insurgency.
Decent game, challenging foe, interesting prestige system based on political support. Good game to learn on the fly, let the ai kick your butt a few times. It really could use an undo button
It is a good game
