Honestly, the game is pretty good. The graphics are top notch, and the approach to drift boosts are IMO very innovative. But since the developer is racist, & doesn't pay his composer, this is a game you should consider not purchasing.
Victory Heat Rally for me is a complete surprise hidden gem, After going into this game completely blind after getting it from a mystery steam key pack I walked away absolutely loving it and putting over 13hrs into it earning all achievements, It reminds me so much of one of those classic Takara Choro Q PS2 racers I used to play as a kid. The art style is so well stylised and colourful with a mesh between 2D cars and 3D tracks that it makes it so appealing the look at, You can tell and a lot of love and passion went into making it. The soundtrack is also just fire with high BPM and Eurobeat style tracks always keep you hyped to race and win 1st to get the gold medal to unlock the next rival racer. I 100% recommend this game it's generally a blast.

The game is all style and no substance. As much as I wanted to like it, I just got bored and its why I don't recommend it. There are wild performance spikes in nearly every race where one or two laps suddenly start going 2-3 times as fast as the rest of the laps. I think this might be to compensate for the rubberbanding going on with the ai opponents, where the bottom tier are basically just low level obstacles you'll never need to worry about until you lap them again, the top 3 are medium/hard depending on the heat, and the rival is fully cheated at different stages of the tournament where they're a snail on one and the next they're a rocket. Its not difficult, just annoying. They're basically all the same racer with slightly different settings dialed in. The controls and mechanics are simplistic to the point where the maps and visuals can't make up for every race being basically the same. There is no point to the different bars when you're deciding on which car to use, as long as its above zero it doesn't really matter. The game doesn't get any better the longer you play, there aren't any skills to practice, there really isn't anything to it.
If you like F-Zero you’ll probably like this game. There’s a little bit of SNES F-Zero and SNES Mario Kart in this game. One of the better 2D art in a 3D world games out there. The first few stages are pretty chill but at some point the difficulty ramps up super fast.
I have more time than what is shown its prob closer to 700+ hrs. But for the most part it was a fun game, addicting for getting fast times and competing against others in Speedrun.com. But there's really no updates, only a few people play at times, and there are some known bugs that aren't fixed and some other things outside the game. But at this point is not really worth it.
Short game, but it's very fun. Everything about it oozes fun. The character designs, the sound, the driving, all of it. It's also got splitscreen if you like that.
La drift est vraiment ben faite dans ce jeu, je trouve même que c'est le point fort de ce jeu de course! Le mode histoire donne le goût de ne pas lâcher le jeu! J'aime aller vite! Excellente DA
