I have enjoyed playing this game. I like Glen Drovers games and have played quite a few of them. The game is fun and an old school wargame. Don't expect amazing graphics. The ACW is an improvement on some of the UI issues. 7/10

Schönes Spiel zur Abwechslung

I really enjoyed playing this game. It is pretty hard as you are outnumbered and the victory conditions are high. I managed to play cat and mouse with the nearly invincible British fleet and lured them far enough away from England that I could cross the channel and take London. Don't know if I could do it again as it was pretty difficult. This game is still fun nearly a decade after release, so pick it up if you are thinking about it.

Casi con seguridad es uno de los juegos más sorprendentes que haya jugado. A primera vista parece demasiado sencillo pero es muy profundo y los errores se pagan caro. La utilización de las cartas en el momento justo puede hacer la diferencia en el resultado de la campaña. Exquisitamente dibujado, ha sido un hallazgo que recomiendo a los fans de las guerras napoleónicas y a los que les gusta una campaña contra una IA decente. 11/10.

Simple mais pas simpliste. Une bonne surprise!

The game itself is a cool concept. The problem is, and Im not the only one judging by forum posts, the game refuses to run properly unless you run it in 1080P, and even then for me its glitchy. It looks like someone from the development team has attempted to help people for multiple running issues with this game on modern rigs but...shouldn't the developers have fixed these issues? I got the game on sale and have 10 hours put into it with annoying ctd often while constantly troubleshooting issues. Too bad becuase like I said the game is a cool concept.

Excellent game - low replayability, but it's just good, honest, simple fun.
