Deer Hunting - The Season

This game has a ton of potential as the game leans in on realism, but in its current state I can't recommend. The game needs an optimization and graphical setting overhaul severely. I purchased the game back in January and I haven't seen anyone play this and achieve more than 40 fps. The game hardly utilizes my CPU or GPU while running and I get between 20-40 fps. My PC should be able to run this with no issue but I imagine the Unity Engine has something to do with this. I really hope this get addressed at some point bc it's holding me back from playing the game and purchasing the turkey dlc which looks awesome. I love the gameplay itself, as it is an elevated version of classic hunting games such as Deer Hunter, Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 2003 etc. The dev also releases a ton of updates and is active with the community which is cool to see.

Great overall game, would be nice to see more weapon/character customization, a little better graphics, and a actual trophy room, like in Hunter Call of The Wild.

WE NEED MORE DEVS LIKE THIS! Game is amazing. Bucks chase does. Soybeans turn yellow. Really realistic and cool. Forget the big name hunting games, this was made by a hunter.

Very addictive. There is so much depth in just features, which most hunting games do not have. But, if good graphics is something you need to enjoy a game, this is not the game for you. I’ve played for 16 hours and so far I’ve killed two 200” bucks. Very helpful community in the discord. Though, the discord is not usually active.
