Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 21 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

DEICHKIND - Richtig Gutes Zeug
Another fantastic high-octane action game from Platinum, this game does not show it's age at all and delivers an excellent experience at a low price. Takes around 4 to 5 hours to beat the first run through but this in turn unlocks a new difficulty and a bunch of challenges to come back to. The high variety of weapons, hidden collectibles and a reasonably sized roster of enemy types alongside the interesting boss designs leaves a lot of room for replayability. Definitely worth a play if you are considering it

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Halo & Gears on speed with a grain of Metal Gear Rising. I loved the sci-fi-bad ass scenario, the cool character and world design that brought so much variety also in the mission design. The sound track fitted well. Vanquis is a great Japanese action firework!
mala historia buena accion
Ok shooter. Bit too much of an emphasis on slide acrobatics, but that is to be expected.
platinum should make a third person shooter again, this game is so sick. the story and dialogue are cheesy and over the top, but it's a fitting combo with the fast-paced action of the gameplay. the boost slide is so much fun, and is a really satisfying movement mechanic to master. as far as i know, some aspects of the game are broken at high frame rates, and some minor ones still persist even at 60 fps but it seems perfectly playable at that cap.
Vanquish was a lot of fun. Satisfying and entertaining gameplay from start to finish. Gave me Metal Gear Solid aesthetic vibes with Gears of War x DMC gameplay. Added to favourites.
I've never played a game that you can tell ran out of budget in real time.
I've been going through some backlog games. This is an older one, and certainly an artifact of the era in which it was originally released. I like to call it the "who is this even for?" era of Japanese games. You see, back in the nineties, Sega and Nintendo ran the scene. They needed novel software to push their various console hardware. Games came out at a frightening pace back then. A lot of game enthusiasts forget that then, just as now, the majority of those games were trash. For every Link to the Past you got at least ten games like Krusty's Super Fun House. The same analogy could apply to, say, Shining Force and Wayne's World. Or maybe, if you're a PlayStation kind of person, Resident Evil 2 and Bubsy 3D. By the late 2000s, the curve got flatter and more boring. Games became more cumbersome and expensive to make. Publishers started to tighten their coffers. As more people picked up the hobby games were developed to appeal to the broadest common denominator. That's why Platinum was so special in those days. Bayonetta is still one of my favorite games of all time. I waited to finally get around to Vanquish for forever. It's just kind of okay, though. Who is the intended audience of Vanquish? Lovers of cool, weird action games with novel mechanics? I guess. It could happen. The gray mud motif of so many Xbox 360 and PS3 games might put them off a little. Vanquish has a plot about a nightmare World War 3 scenario that you might see in one of those weird futuristic Call of Duty games. It seems like a vain attempt to capture the Gears of War crowd with its stop and pop cover shooting and levels rotten with chest high walls. Vanquish kind of makes up for these shortcomings with novel moving and aiming mechanics. For a thing so fundamental to shooters of the era, very few games ever bothered to do anything interesting with those mechanics. You can jet boost from cover to cover, stopping to bust off a few slow motion rounds in the middle of that trajectory. It feels like playing Max Payne with rocket skates and Marcus Fenix's regenerating health. With the addition of oddball weapons and bossfights, maybe there's a little Panzer Dragoon and Omega Boost in there. You also get annoying elements of the era. Quick time events are scattered throughout high tension moments in the campaign. Damage feedback against the robot enemies doesn't always feel the best. Some of the enemies in the game are annoying to fight to the point where I dreaded them showing up. The uncanny melodrama of the voice performances lend the game a bizarre atmosphere. Overall, though, I would recommend Vanquish. It has more fun moments than frustrating ones. It's not the best game ever made, but I don't feel like I wasted my time playing it. If you haven't tried Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, and maybe even Gears of War, try some of those first. If you're hungry for more, maybe pick up Vanquish on sale.
