About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

Worth getting in my opinion, when you don't expect it to be VtMB with better graphics; I upgraded my computer parts so I could smoothly play this game, I'm glad I did, it was about time. So in that sense Bloodlines 2 helped me with procrastination. Not only that it helped me to take distance from things that troubled me elsewhere. I needed it. And in a way this game somehow made me feel a smidge more confident. If you see this on discount definitely get it.
*Maybe some minor spoiler* TLDR:Get it if it on sale , not worth the full price at all , but if you wanna be a vampire running around the city flying and such , it fun I haven't played the first game yet , so this is a review from someone without any knowledge of how the story/world is supposed to be. I kinda understand the mixed review , the game have potential , but it lacking in so many ways . For what it worth , i do say i enjoy my time in the game , tho i think i would not replay it anytime soon -A fews things that i enjoy: +The travel is fun , running around rooftop , gliding around is really fun , and you unlock it right away so you can enjoy how fun it is right after you finish the tutorial +Strong voice acting , most of the main NPC have great VA behind them so it feel great +Most of the main npc is quite memorable as well +Combat is quite fun as well , lacking alots but for what it worth , it is fun (tho i do play the game on casual mode) +Multiple ending ? But that about it , so here a fews thing that kinda annoy me when i played ( My pc is not ... strong so some of it might be because of my own fault , idk ) -Weird dialogue , the VAs did what they can but some dialogue sound ... unnatural -The city is empty , there basically a fews citizen walking around , talk a fews repeated words , do the same things. Idk if that the vibe they're going for or not but it feel so empty -There a nearly no side mission ( technically there is , but beat this goon here , collect this cross there , erase the mark too feel like those daily mission , repeat and boring ) -Most of the head of the clan feel empty , some have weird dialogue , and there nothing behind them as well , you just visit them to learn new skill , other than that , there just no reason to visit them ( or if you wanna romance them , but it suck too ) -Knock down too easily (?), sometime it feel like one gun shot and you be flying , i played the game on casual so it doesn't hurt but it feel kinda annoying to deal with ( git gud i guess ) -Some dialogue just mute mid way , then the sound come back on the next one , it nothing serious but it kinda annoy me sometime -Fabien part of the game ... I love Fabien , don't get me wrong but his part feel so boringgggg . While i understand it to connect and told the story , it just feel like it kill any momentum i had playing as phyre ( also the main reason why i don't wanna replay the game right away ) -The " Romance " is so bad , you just run some gig for them then get in bed , and it just a fade to black with weird ass talk between it , Safia is the only one felt like worth romancing and we all know how that turn out Why there are more minus point in this long ass review , i do say i enjoy my time in here , running and fighting is fun , Safia , Fabien , Lou , Ryong , Tolly ,... is great for what they do. I don't really like the ending but that just me, i guess it fit the vibe ?
Amazing game! The story is engaging and the combat offers a satisfying level of challenge. I haven’t finished the game yet, but so far I’m enjoying it a lot.
rien que pour le gameplay ce jeux mérite d'être jouer la duré de vie est correct le fait de pouvoir sauté d'immeuble en immeuble est vraiment cool et les combats sont nerveux et gore bref j'ai aimer jouer a ceux jeux
tried this game but the keybinds are bugged, how can a 8 months old game still not fix this issue? I had to stop to get a refund. How can you ask people to pay 60 for a broken game.
I liked the game despite its flaws. Sure, the open world is rather sparse, or maybe just repetitive, since you keep doing the same kinds of tasks. Still, I had fun with the different ways you could approach combat, even though the enemies often seemed a little lost. I would've enjoyed it if the detective side of the game would've been extended on, like being able to fail and having to search another clue to move on would've been a nice addition in my opinion for example. Also, loading screens between areas (especially flashbacks) can be long, sometimes disturbing story moments or just annoying, apart from that I had little technical issues/bugs. What I enjoyed most was the story. Sure, it wasn't the biggest plot of all time, but I was still invested in it and liked it. All in all I would hope that they make another game but impliment more of an open world. Would I recommend the game? Depends on you. If you can look over repetitive tasks (or just play the story tasks), then I can recommend it. If these are things you are looking for in a game, then I can not.
