Best RPG I've ever played. Do not rush the Main Quests and do all the Side Quests you see, I promise you won't regret it, graphics look bit old though.

Probably 10 outta 10 in my books. A great game when you want a break from things and an even better game to get immersed into. Combat is what I'd expect from a game in its time (Personally? It plays fine to me but others may disagree.), the story and atmosphere are perfect for fans of everything vamp. Nothing else to say other than all it really needs is a mod or two that makes things just slightly better, if you like vampires and well crafted settings then this game may be for you.

If you like RPGs do yourself a favor and get this game. I'm not usually reviewing games but I genuinely think this game deserves to be appreciated more. There's valid reasons this game didn't blow up, it was rushed out a buggy mess, also made on the beta version of the engine. RPGs were fairly popular but a game like this wasn't exactly in high demand. I think one of the biggest reasons is it released on the same day as Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source. Actually even harsher than that, this is in the same month games like WoW, Halo 2, Jak 3, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater were all released. Crazy lineup, not even the only great games that came out that month, just the most notable. Compared to all these legendary games I think it just fell off the radar. 2004 was a golden year for video games, we also got GTA San Andreas that year. Just be sure to use the patcher. It takes like 2 minutes to read, real easy to set up. It also might look suspicious to protective software just due to it not being commonly downloaded.

Brilliant vampiric RPG with lovely old 2000s graphics. BUT a total bug-riddled pool of messiness and anger when it comes to combat, even with the Unoffical Patch installed. Only recommended to people who actually want to experience this game specifically, and not just to experience a vampire RPG. Everything is nice but the combat makes me want to quit the game forever
