Simple Satisfying Addicting Absolute bargain!
Cringe AF
A great time-killer that perfects the formula of similar other upgrade/unlock based games. English players will be fortunately spared the gratuitous blasphemy that plagues the game - the desperate attempt of the developer to be funny, and can consider this review a solid thumb up but, as an Italian, I think this game is cringe as f**k. In conclusion, very good if you are either blessed by ignorance, or you have the sense of humor of a 15 years old, otherwise you'll spend a lot of time trying to tune the cringe out...
just a fun low brain wave game. I've been hooked on it for months across different platforms, immense that I can upload my progress to the cloud and just continue on whenever and wherever. The game is too fun.
simple fun with piles of depth
I like playing this game while waiting for things
If I had to describe Vampire Survivors in one sentence, I'd call it a new kind of drug. It's incredibly difficult to put down once it gets its hooks into you. You can tell how influential it has become just by looking at how many games have followed in its footsteps. It's the granddaddy of the entire genre, and after spending so much time with it, it's easy to understand why. For such a low price, you get an absurd amount of content. The pixel art fits the game perfectly. I know that style alone might put some people off, and I understand why. But this is one of those games where everything clicks the moment you actually play it. Suddenly, all the praise and the hype make perfect sense. At its core, Vampire Survivors is a giant sandbox. You're constantly experimenting with different characters, weapons, evolutions, Arcana, and countless combinations to discover what works. The controls couldn't be simpler, you only move your character while everything else happens automatically. That simplicity is exactly what makes the game so satisfying. Instead of focusing on complicated mechanics, you're making meaningful decisions about your build every few minutes, and those choices completely change how each run plays out. It may seem overwhelming at first, but once you understand how weapon evolutions and synergies work, the game becomes surprisingly approachable. From there, you can decide how difficult you want to make it by enabling different modifiers and challenge modes. Another thing I appreciate is that Vampire Survivors never overstays its welcome. It's like Tetris, you can sit down for a single run, have a great time, and come back whenever you feel like it. It also runs on practically anything, making it a perfect game for a Steam Deck or an older PC. I don't think this is a game that needs a lengthy review anymore. Most people have at least heard of it by now. But if you're one of the few who still wonder what all the hype is about, my advice is simple: just try it. It's one of those games that can only really be understood by playing it yourself. And yes... the addiction is real.
Addiction gaming, isn't the most difficult nor the most in depth game. But is can be fun to play. My hours are much more on a different platform.
God I love it when I get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the RNG for 9h in a row
