Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Fly Through the Night

We've all had that dream where you're flying in the sky only to wake up to your boring terrestrial life, but dream no more! Fly around as a bat with unique movement that re-contextualizes precision platformer trappings and flips them upside-down!
Old-School Charm

Limitations were imposed on the palette, sprite size, and audio fidelity to really deliver on that old-school feeling. Retaining the difficulty of retro games, but with modern design sensibilities so you wont be throwing your rectangular controller.
Open World

it's tough out there, but you can take it at your own pace. If you're ever stuck on a challenge, you can easily take a different path and find another way forward.
Carve Your Own Path

There are plenty of routes you can take through the game, but there's gotta be one that's the best, right? The world is designed to let players experiment with routing and find the fastest, or easiest, way through the game, depending on if you're hardcore or looking for something more chill.

Reviews
a cute game with a unique control scheme and plenty of charm
at first i just liked it, but then the movement clicked, and i couldnt stop playing until i finished it. get past the small growing pains and you'll realize that one batformer isnt enough we need more.
Super cute, super brief, hellish precision challenge from hell.
someone called this a batformer and i concur
A nice and concise precision platformer (or "bat-former"). I like how much nuance the movement has despite such a simple control scheme. Many screens demand some serious finesse, but with enough patience and experimentation it'll eventually click. There's a pleasant variety of mechanics and hazards, and it only took a few short sessions to acquire all the collectibles (though I did retain some experience from playing the prior Next-Fest demo). It's initially unintuitive and difficult, but if you commit to its quirky controls it'll become quite fun and rewarding.
没有缺点的短篇精确平台跳跃佳作,手感、玩法与关卡都做到了出色的水准,算是一部必玩之作。 7.5/10
Vampire's Best Friend is one of those games that takes you by the shoulders and says "Hey. Look. I'm doing something different with the controls here, alright? It's not what you'll be expecting and it'll probably take at least 20 minutes before you really start moving with intentionality and it will almost certainly frustrate you… but just trust me, alright?" I did trust it. And I ended up loving it for being uncompromising in its difficult but ultimately masterable controls that massively enhanced what would have been a very easy experience otherwise. The premise of the game is that you're a bat flying through a mansion to try and collect enough garlic to save your vampire friend. However, you can't actually land on the ground, only on the ceiling, and your flight time is limited. So every movement must be calculated, not merely to get the collectables you need to clear the game, but simply to get around. Your only moves are flapping left and right (I suggest using the shoulder buttons) but the real bugaboo with this game is mastering the momentum, because it's key to everything. You really need to get a good grip on how you move, not just in the sense of what pressing the buttons does but how you speed up, how you slow down, the rate at which you pick up speed, how the angles you take will affect your ability to turn. It's really sophisticated stuff, frankly! You might be able to see a bulb of garlic and have an idea of how to nab it and safely land, but figuring out how you must move to do so is another thing entirely, and you might need to practice multiple approaches to see which ones are viable, if the way you're doing it is viable at all. The game never tells you the specifics either, you must intuit this yourself as you play. And I won't pretend there are some anger inducing moments, especially early on when you don't have a handle on the controls yet (since the game is open world, there's no real ramp-up of difficulty, it throws you in right away). But I'm someone who counts the original Balloon Fight as one of my favorites, so this is really the momentum-based flight platformer I've been begging for for years, without even really knowing it. It is incredibly satisfying to break through the barrier on some of these challenges, knowing I did it only with my skills acquired along the way. Aside from that, it does have that charming NES graphical style and music that, while certainly nothing new, are well done. The style clean enough to make it clear what you have to get through in order to beat the stages, and that's all it really need to be. Like I said, this is one of those games that demands a level of precision from you that you can't fake, and that's going to push some people away. But for a certain kind of platformer lover, you won't find a better challenge. 9 outta 10
Super tough but also cute! If you are craving a true challenge this game is for you
