Fate of Kai

Jogo de puzzle bem curtinho, o visual é bem feito e os puzzles bem pensados, nada demais, porém, alguns da para ficar alguns minutinhos pensando como resolver. Gostei bastante da forma criativa como o jogo se desenrola e o fato de não ter textos, faz com que o jogo não precise necessariamente estar em nosso idioma para fazer sentido, uma vez que o jogador só irá precisar saber palavras simples, como RUN, OPEN, FIGHT... Não tem como não recomendar Fate of Kai, indie bem pensado e baratinho, se ainda não estiver seguro, espera uma promo, certeza que ficará mais barato que o troco do pão!

[h1]1500원의 참여형 동화책[/h1] 정가로 구매하는 것은 비추천드리며, 세일하면 80% 할인되어 1500원에 구매할 수 있습니다. 게임은 만화책을 보는 시점으로 진행되며, 주인공은 상자를 성까지 운반해야 합니다. 플레이어는 주인공의 여정을 지켜보며 적절한 타이밍에 그의 행동을 유도해 다음 페이지로 넘어가도록 도와주면 됩니다. 말풍선 안의 단어들은 가져올 수 있으며, 다른 말풍선에 새로운 단어를 넣어 이야기를 진행하는 방식입니다. 특이한 점은 특정 단어를 사용해 새로운 상황을 만들고, 그 페이지에서 새로운 단어를 얻은 뒤 다시 이전 페이지로 돌아가 단어를 교체할 수 있다는 것입니다. 예를 들어, A라는 단어를 사용해 B 단어를 생성한 뒤, 이전 페이지로 돌아와 B 단어를 활용해 새로운 길을 열어가는 방식이죠. 이러한 시스템 덕분에 자연스럽게 모든 단어를 사용해보고 싶어지며, ‘이 단어를 여기서 사용하면 어떤 변화가 생길까?’ 하는 호기심이 생기도록 설계된 점이 인상적이었습니다. 그 외에도 페이지를 직접 클릭해 주인공의 행동을 유도하거나, 과거로 돌아가 상황을 바꿔 미래를 변화시키는 등 다양한 서브 기믹이 존재합니다. 또한, 페이지를 확대해 특정 물건을 확인하는 기능도 있어 단순히 단어만 바꾸는 것이 아니라 다양한 방식으로 이야기에 개입할 수 있도록 설계되어 있습니다. 다만, 플레이타임이 매우 짧아 정가로 구매하는 것은 비추천드립니다. 또한, 게임의 감성이나 스토리도 잘 만든 만화책이라기보다는 어린아이용 동화책 같은 느낌이 강해, 스토리를 기대하고 구매하는 것도 추천드리지 않습니다. 1500원에 가볍게 퍼즐을 즐기면서 간단한 힐링 게임을 원하는 분들에게 적당한 게임입니다.

This is a comic book-style point-and-click adventure, and it tells you about a child's adventures in a fantasy world. there are no dialogues or voiceovers in this game, and the story is presented with pictures. There is one type of puzzle: choosing the right linear action that the character takes in some situations. It started out easy, solvable, and plausible, but when you reach the last chapters, suddenly it gets more obscure and annoying. Timed sections in these obscure situations make matters worse because when you can't choose the right actions in this limited time, you have to start trying to solve the puzzle over and over, and this is the part (Chapter 6) where I gave up playing this game. The game is developed by Unity, and it's a polished game, but because of the sudden spike in difficulty, the puzzle solutions became obtuse, and I lost patience with this game. The length is also quite short, so just buy it when it's on sale.

Mine is probably the unpopular opinion, but I found this game boring and frustrating. The animation/illustrations are really amazing, but this would make a much better "Choose Your Own Adventure" type of book for children than a video game. It's similar to the concept of Beacon Pines, but this game largely pales in comparison. The music and artwork are amazing in this game, but I just can't recommend it as a game.

Questo gioco vi terrà impegnati a snodare le sinapsi che vi attorciglierà. Un gioco che per certi versi ricorda Storyteller di Annapurna. Bello l'artwork e la giocabilità rilassata che vi offre. Si tratta di un prodotto che dura circa 1 ora scarsa, ma che vi potrà regalare un po' di spensieratezza in compagnia di Kai.
