Blood Moon

Tried to enjoy the game, as I was interested in the setting and premise of werewolves trying to survive in a big urban city...but it just did not jive with me. I felt the characterization to be underwhelming and not interesting enough to care about many of the characters. There is a lot of "um...♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ balls, did that just happen?!" type humor here, and I get that some people go for that but I find it grating. Considering that these are werewolves who have been roughing it in nature before heading to the city, seeing them act like worldly millennials is jarring. Also, I am not bothered by swearing in the least, but to see "f***" "s***" or my favorite "f*** f*** f***" thrown around too many times was disappointing because I felt there were better and deeper ways to express a feeling or situation. But whatever, that's more a minor gripe than anything.

Marco is an FTM trans man and [i]I'm[/i] telling you that because [i]the game [b]lacks[/b] the courtesy to tell you[/i] before you start a relationship with him. You kind of sort of randomly find out that he's trans during a party, completely out of the blue. The party is in Chapter 6, but you can start a relationship with Marco as early as Chapter 5. In my opinion, telling you this way is a ♥♥♥♥ move from the author, and this treatment of the reader is especially sad because Marco's route is, possibly, out of all male options, the best one in the game? This one singular moment really did leave a sour taste in my mouth, and who knows how many people wouldn't give him a chance just because of it. Like, would it absolutely murder you to drop a hint or two so the reader can make informed decisions about their playthrough instead of hitting them over the head with the reveal? Granted, you are allowed to back out of the relationship almost immediately, but, first of all, don't do it, second of all, it will probably make you feel like ♥♥♥♥ for stringing him along (I didn't try the option though so I don't know what happens if you cut him off). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3193101062 Back to the game as a whole. [b]Blood Moon[/b] is an urban fantasy where you play as a werewolf. Despite the promise of a lot of interaction with the other paranormal elements of the universe, you will be interacting with other werewolves (and primarily with your pack) the most, with vampires being a close second (vampires to werewolves as cats to dogs). Personally, I'm not a big fan of werewolves and "werewolf mechanics" (I just wanted to read some urban fantasy), so it was a bit cringy to read at the beginning, but it grew on me by the end of the book. This is also a standalone story and not a part of any series. The writing is clear, concise, and just a little bit edgy. Quite good, but nothing to write home about. You may also find certain turns of phrase repeated throughout the text at different points in a single playthrough. (Either it's by accident, or by virtue of them being the author's favourite, I can't tell). It's not really a bad case of repetition, but definitely something noticeable. The book is quite liberal with swearing as well, so be warned if you find that annoying. Blood Moon has 8 characters available for romance - 4 male, 3 female, and 1 non-binary person. Overall, it's a diverse cast of love interests, and while the romances are various degrees of fleshed out, the ones I've played are all quite fun. (I played Marco, Sergi, and Farro routes.) The game also provides a lot of options for your character customisation, and choices for how the love scenes will play out (from just hanging out and makeout sessions to full on banging, including, of course, skipping the explicit sex scene entirely). A fun read that does away with stat points or abilities and replaces them with relationships, which is kind of cool. The romance options were varied and well-done.

这是让苯人比较震撼居然没锁国区的一部，throne of blood 只能在港区买而这部居然能直接买，这可比那部spicy多了啊，sex情节写得非常露骨，过审小能手属于是。这个作者很强，写romance是神中神，flirt很自然不尴尬，她的IF是为数不多能让我感受到butterfly in the stomach的作品，与此同时 主线剧情也不错，节奏好张力强，起冲突阶段更是更有戏剧性和电影感。主角是狼人，地盘上来了个狼人和血族的混血儿，引来混血儿的监管者血族进而引发了狼人与血族之间的族群之争，女巫、猎人等第三方势力也会出场。可攻略对象特别多，八个li都是固定性别（想知道具体是哪八个可以在成就里面搜arm，be like ended the game in Vicky’s arm ），其中四个li戏份比较多，分别是开头就在的三个好朋友Vicky ，Ed， Marco和混血儿Carrie。Vicky 较沉默寡言肌肉猛女，但在健身房和主角那一段真的很hot🤤Ed是Vicky的弟弟，比较shy类的li；Marco是比较爱开玩笑类的角色导致容易把他当朋友而不是当li看；Carrie是经典的化敌为友类嘴臭Li。剩下的li分别是对主角一见钟情隔壁pack的hot girl，隔壁pack的首领，本族群首领的兄弟（年纪比较大），还有一个single dad（洋人好像对single mom single dad有种独特fetish），苯人只走了Vicky线，之后可能会再尝试别的Li。 强烈建议玩过以后去玩论坛里的续作thicker than的wip（搜关键词应该就能搜到thicker than /choice of game/ work in progress），续作是扮演血族，本作里的女巫血族猎人均会登场，还有续作主角和本作主角见面的场景，啊啊啊啊满足了一些系列作品爱好者的幻想，我就是爱看这种彩蛋！算了我直接放链接吧 https://cogdemos.ink/play/barbara-truelove/thicker-than-demo/mygame

剧情很不错很有代入感，玩完感觉自己真的是狼人了想去朝月亮吼一嗓子。但是一周目就打出了只有13.6%的独狼结局（不是为什么啊。。。。5555 唯一的缺点就是没法存档得自己去下个管理器。
