6.5/10 Like most other reviewers I'll first note that this game is just a visual novel. The attached battle system is simplistic and none of the fights present a challenge. The game's story is real slow creep that suddenly wallops you in the back of the head in the last 5ish hours. The game splits its narrative presentation between larger story events and numerous slice-of-life side events. I found this at points to drastically affect pacing negatively. Your sense of anticipation would be killed after an engaging story sequence because you're then forced to read through 3-5, while often charming, low-stakes side events. There are a few story threads that I didn't exactly like having to engage with, but I suppose that should be expected if you consider this series' origin. Overall I found the story intriguing enough to want to see how this world develops in later games. Achievement wise I got 40/49 in my first playthrough (46 hrs). Uncertain if you can full clear in one go, but I think a second New Game+ clear could be done very quickly.
总体来说还是很不错的，就是篇幅太短了，并且节奏多少有点问题，前面剧情非常慢，废萌级别，而中部略快，尾部更是快的没边，如果有七十个小时以上的时长基础表现会好得多。玩下来唯一二不满意的就是男主实在是憋屈，感觉作者完全不会写爽文打脸，前期都给欺负成啥了，也不知道是不会写还是多少带有古早galgame的ntr恶趣味，对于这方面的处理是欠佳，或者说是非常不合适的，不过就像我前面所说，除去这两个之外没什么槽点，是个不错的galgame

That was a really interesting story with some humour sprinkled in here and there as well. The VN style obviously limits the scope and all but it never got boring (the only annoying thing were the glugging sounds when someone drank sake again - especially when you had multiple scenes like that back to back to back). The tactical combat gameplay is very basic but it's serviceable enough. Overall, it was quite enjoyable.
