About
Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts aims to be the first game of its kind - a true naval warfare game - which offers a unique opportunity to design and build countless variations of realistic looking warships combined with an extremely in-depth and realistic combat model. We are absolutely excited with what we are making and we hope everyone who is interested about the dreadnought era and naval warfare, will join our ambitious project and support us.
BUILD THE BATTLESHIPS THE WAY YOU WANT
Become the architect of powerful warships, from small torpedo boats to mighty Battleships! Recreate famous ships such as the HMS Dreadnought and countless speculative designs. Pick turret layout, armor scheme, funnel placement, tower variations making each ship look and feel unique. Their hull characteristics, internal upgrade selection and weight distribution not only modifies their speed and maneuverability but also their weapon effectiveness. Every design detail of your warships has a significant effect on the combat capability of your ships.
STRONG AI
Naval combat becomes immersive and feels even more realistic when your opponent is able to react to your actions with a human-like and unexpected behavior. The AI evaluates the optimal engagement distance, using principles of the “Immunity Zone” and comparing its own firepower versus your ships. The AI uses ammunition wisely, holding fire when necessary or switching shell types according to the armor protection of the target. Unless there is a special mission directive, the AI will not act suicidally and will attempt to withdraw, if its fleet becomes heavily damaged or it is much weaker than yours.
NAVAL ACADEMY & CUSTOM BATTLES
The Custom Battle system allows you to experiment and enjoy naval battles utilizing endless combinations of ship designs in technology eras between the years 1890 and 1950 for ten different nations. Additionally, there is the “Naval Academy” which currently includes 63 battle scenarios, where you will have to design a ship or a squadron to fulfill a certain combat tactical task. These numerous missions will allow you to practice and enjoy the many innovative design and combat aspects of the game.
THE CAMPAIGN
You can fully design your fleet, immerse yourself in epic naval battles and make crucial strategic decisions on the map with a single goal to defeat your opponents by annihilating their fleets and strangling their economy. The map includes necessary historical and strategic aspects that can simulate actual facts of the period 1890-1940.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Didn't like it. The tactical ship component is a massive learning curve with very little fun. The campaign is a tedious grind with very little fun. I enjoyed it a bit less than doing my taxes.
It is ♥♥♥♥, the ai, the generative builds for the ships, you can have a light cruiser giving flat flank to a 12" gun and it manage to tank it every single time you hit, the ai does not miss but you will miss by a lot....
boat. boat go boom. boat game. boat good
It was fun but the devs abandoned and greedy tactics but if you already own it has some fun left it in
no more updates, laggy, multiplayer servers taken down but multiplayer dlc still on sale
The game feels unfinished. You cant play as smaller nations nor control your land forces. Its lacking polish and it shows
First of all: Writeing a rezession is REALY rare for me because usually most things needed to be said are said already. But here, i need to adress my opinion. Not just to you (might wanting to buy it) but to the devs as well. Direct, hones and straight. I realy wanted to play this game for such a long time. I bought it and was so hyped - and emidiatly regretted it. I still regrett it. 25 hrs played and im still fighting the Naval Academy missions wich are sopposed to reffer as a kind of Interactive totorial. Okey, i get that part. BUT - And thats now the first and by far most annoying ♥♥♥♥ ive ever seen in a game like that: The AI gives a wet ♥♥♥♥ about restrictions in any case. For example: Build BB, destroy 100% of 2 BB and 5 DD. Could be poossible considering the fact that youll build most likely 4-2 BBs with the money you get. Potent BBs as well around 30-37k tones. Now, heres the issue: The AI aint got any restrictions at all. So i end up faceing not just 5 DD`s speeding between 35-43kts armed with a rediculess amount of Torps, no! Way to fair still! AI also itroduces to you 2 BBs usually rangeing between 43-55(!!!)k tons EACH and most of the time armed between 13 and almost 16" main guns. Now, i see the AI is supposed to be "hard" and "Challangeing" and since the AI coded sucks a lot in therms of tactical awareness thats the conclusion the devs had. But there is a diffrence between Hard and Cheating by simply operateing without any limits at all. So my opinion after 2 13hrs sessions of "I Realy want to play this!" is: Optic: Decent and realy enjoyable. Sound: 10/10 amazing! Building: Intuitive and if you take time reading its selfexplaining if you know at least basic physics. Mission design: Awfull! Outright Awfull and not challanging but outright aimed to make sure you dont enjoy anything after pressing Start. The only way to win a Academy? Reload the battle so long till the AI builds something that dosnt represent 20 yrs tech ahead and twice your size while youre suppesed to win with a Boat and armed with a rifle. Wouldnt recomand that game unless you want a Darksouls random mod version of Construcion game or a "reload battle" - simmulation because thats going to be the most used button for you in order to win a single Naval Academy Mission. - Promissed. I realy, realy, REALY wish i could refund it.
