I started playing this and thought "Oh man, the Super Puzzle Platformer guy is going to be PISSED" and then I looked at the Dev. Great job, Andrew. Super fun.
I like it a lot! This has an astounding level of polish and the gameplay is completely addictive. The visual effects can get a bit hectic at times, slightly hampering my ability to discern threats, but other than that this is a fantastic little puzzle game to lose many hours to.
A Really Unique "PUZZLE + PLATFORMER" gem that deserve more attention.
Very fun arcade puzzle fun. A spiritual sequel to Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe.
The Superest Puzzle Platformer 2 HD Hyper Ultra Turbo Remix Deluxe Plus Remastered GOTY Edition DX. The tick rate is tied to the framerate which (for better and for worse) makes cheating err cheesing the game easy on Steam Deck. Makes me wonder if the game was made in GameMaker or something, not that it matters. Game is enjoyable enough for the occasional quick romp. Kinda reminds me of Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon or Mr. Driller in only the best of ways. And a lil bit of Meteos too. I miss Meteos. Check it out I guess. Hard to say whether you’re missing much if you’ve played the old iterations I alluded to at the top of this review. If you haven’t, though, check this one out for the definitive experience—for now. Looking forward to Super Puzzle Platformer Effect: Connected.
A puzzle game that's controlled like a platformer brings out an insanely fun arcade-style game, with a solid amount of side content and a defined goal. I found this game because I saw one of my favorite YouTubers play it, so I bought and played it on my Switch for about 10 hours, and then bought the game again on here and 100%-ed it. So yeah, a simple review for a simple game. If you think you'll like it, you DEFINITELY will. 10/10
Very fun puzzle game The music is nice amd the game feels great to play It's pretty unique too, with a nice amount of risk amd rewards, you'll definitely die a lot because of greed
Have you wanted to play Kirby's avalanche inside the play zone as you fight for you fight from missiles, spikes, robots, ghosts, and aliens? I mean. I did not until now and damn this is quite addicting to play for a bit, switch up load outs and try something new. I bought it on sale but 15 bucks at full price? The quality is there. A sale is a steal!
UFO is a really high quality arcade game with a lot of depth, unlocks and challenges. It's really easy to pick up and play and get sucked into, and it feels awesome when you learn it enough to get in the zone and do some crazy maneuvers and combos. There's also some really nice gameboy superpower vibes that make this great on steamdeck. 10/10, highly recommend this, especially when it goes on sale for a more fair price. I haven't tried the multiplayer or finished the game yet, maybe I'll add more to this review if that happens.
An outstanding puzzle action game that rewards passive as well as aggressive strategies with fine tuning from upgrades for movement, moving blocks, and for destroying them. The polished presentation for a falling block sub-genre game is much appreciated, and there appears to be much forethought into the game's additional versus modes. The fact that there's only 100 reviews for a game that has crossover appeal for both fans of puzzle games and those who like action games is baffling.
