About
Nurikabe World is a relaxing logic puzzle game where you solve puzzles by creating islands and connecting rivers to create beautiful sceneries. Nurikabe World reimagines the classic Japanese pen-and-paper puzzle Nurikabe as a 3D game, where islands spring to life with trees and structures. Either play handcrafted puzzles, immerse yourself in the flow of infinitely generated maps or create and share your own puzzles with the integrated level editor.

In Nurikabe World, you create islands by placing water tiles. Each number must be separated into its own island with the indicated number of tiles. Completed islands will grow trees and other structures.
Getting started is easy, you only need to know a few rules to start playing!
All islands must be separated by water
The water must form one connected river
2x2 water squares, called "pools", are not allowed
Nurikabe World has puzzles of all sizes and difficulty levels. The crafted puzzles will take you through breezy 5x5 levels to 15x15 endurance-testing experiences and more. There are also a bunch of difficult smaller puzzles for bite-sized challenges.
Solving harder puzzles will require you to learn advanced solving techniques, which you'll learn along the way.
My brain: “pfft, this is easy”. Also my brain, five minutes later: “wait...”
Before Nurikabe World landed on my screen, I had never even heard of this type of japanese brain-teaser, and now I am fully converted. The rules are simple: build islands of the correct size, avoid any 2×2 water squares, and keep the water connected across the board. Easy on paper, surprisingly intense once the grids expand and your brain starts tying itself into logical knots as to avoid that damn waterpool in the 2X2 water square XD Each puzzle slowly grows seasonal landscapes as you solve them, with colorful trees, torii gates, and soft scenery that make progress feel extra rewarding. The music is super calm, perfect for long thinking sessions. There are tons of settings to tailor the experience too, from accessibility tweaks to brightness, controls, and visual adjustments. Undo options, mistake indicators, keyboard or mouse support, and even a full community solution guide keep everything smooth and flexible. Content-wise, this thing is overflooding. Campaigns, daily puzzles, user-created levels, and an infinite mode split into multiple difficulties make it feel endless. Achievements are clear but grindy, especially the daily-related one or the ones requiring a certain number of completed puzzles. There’s no built-in hint system, and going for a 100% can feel repetitive if played in one stretch, so it shines more as a long-term puzzle companion. I ended up with around 22 hours total (with some accidental idle time), and even trimming that down, there’s easily 18+ hours for advanced puzzlers chasing 100% (and even more when including infinite mode). The amount of content compared to the price is kind of wild, especially when on sale. It's a great game for any logic puzzle fan enjoying calm, serene atmospheres and pretty trees.
Nurikabe(数墙)就是一个经典的纸笔题种。
看到讨论区里作者解释说“The 'Multiple Solutions' actually means 'the solver could not prove it has one solution'”,我还是不太明白😵💫
Great game! I knew nothing about nurikabe puzzles, but I really enjoyed this game and continue to play the daily puzzles even though I've finished the campaign. The game does an awesome job of teaching you the rules as well as some helpful tips on deducing solutions. The progression from the easier puzzles to the more difficult ones felt fair. I didn't get terribly stuck at any point, anywhere I did get stuck was easily figured out after leaving and coming back a day or so later with a fresh mind.
Very good game - wait the next one
A neat twist on minesweeper, I get a lot of enjoyment out of this great little logic puzzler. The music and visuals take the game up a notch, as by completing islands you end up creating some beautiful sceneries, and by the end of each level you have a pretty landscape to admire.
Top-notch presentation of a great puzzle! The best part is that it runs great on a lightweight tablet (N100).
