It is fun if you were a fan of the anime series. It is faily repetitive and not very polished but the combat is satifying and fun. I am enjoying it.
Merci!
UFO Robot Grendizer is a clunky beat em up with some basic open world elements. The lack of deliberate level designs make each of the environments feel empty, and the placement of invisible walls seems particularly thoughtless. Furthermore, the game's diversions into shooting genres are ridiculously under-baked. That said, the combat works on a fundamental level, and the game is reasonably well paced for something that is a bit repetitive - I'm glad that the game ended when it did. The story also punches above its weight, probably due to how retro all of it feels. UFO Robot Grendizer is a game that is greater than the sum of its (rather) weak parts.
5.5/10
With great love and respect for the original show, Grendizer The feast of the wolves is a very funny game with nice gameplay recommended for all who loved this cartoon. Besides, the excellent work they made with the different dubs is like being inside an episode. Sincerely they made a great work with this game.
Its got a 60s vibe. combat gets a little sluggish at times though.
I had a blast playing this game, but I'm biased because i grew up watching the anime. I would recommend this for a fan and if the game is on sale.
Sweet homage to Nagai's work. The fact that it's a hack n'slash that mixes up with SHMUP segments really reminds me of Nier Automata, even if it has nowhere the depth of said game, it is still good on its own way.
